Is there some alteration that i can do so i can turn the petrol off,, Virago 250cc 1996,, some kind of valve in the petrol line , seen on/off/ switch, but do need a Reserve aswell, any1 ever altered the fuel set-up, would it mean disconnecting the pump, etc

never done that, but reckon will be easy enough, got the XV 250, changed bars to drag , and took the pods of, and put old british round air filter on, looking #Fab

Hi welcome, i have a 96 virago 250., have changed the gearbox sprocket to a 17 tooth, much better, more space between 1st , 2nd , and 3rd, and in the process of changing the bars, have dragbars to put on, just waiting for risers to arrive. @Happpy days comrad @Jenny..

Hi Darren, good lk findin 1, i got my 250cc virago of ebay , bout 5 mths ago, cost £410 , just needed a front tyre , and fork oil seals doing, then passed mot with flying colours, just changed gearbox sprocket from 16th to 17th, still checking it out, seem to have more space between 1st and 2nd, which is good, and gets to 55 no prob, really want to put flatter bars on, as dont like the position, checking them out now, and lower mirrors, as i,m 5"2. Seen some good 535cc going at less than 1000. got a couple on my watch list, See what happens, All the best,
