    okdokey here she is!
  2. New to R1's myself but i would say No it's not normal!...according to the manual mine displays LO if the temp is under 49degC (i think) then it sits around 75 degC after riding for a bit...Have you checked the radiator cap is working correctly? cheers Chris

    Hi Jon, I fitted some oxford hotgrips to my previous bike, a KTM 950. I thought they were great, especially as you can wire them straight to the battery and not bother wiring them through a relay. if you accidentally leave them on after a ride they turn off automatically when the voltage drops to around 12.5 volts, ie still enough juice to start your bike. I got them off eBay for around 37 pounds and they were the 2007 version (not sure if the older ones have the same functionality). cheers Chris

    First post just to say hello...after a fairly long line of bikes i've just bought my first Yamaha 2005 R1, can't stop riding it or looking at it!...absolutely mint when i bought it other weekend, never seen rain before but after this week it's minging but i bought it to ride!!....stay safe everyone, cheers Chris
