XS1100 1978 I does any one own a XS1100. I really need to sort these pipes out. I have a petrol tap each side of the tank with 2 outletts. and 4 petrol pipes on the carbs. I have changed them all round but it still keeps pouring petrol out of the back of the carbs. I wonder if any of you guys have a xs1100 and can tell me or send me a pic which way these pipes go. Hi Great Site Just Found it. Iv got a problem with my Yam Iv just got it and started to get it running it had a problem with it old carbs so the guy got another set cam with the bike. I put them on after checking floats and neddles they was all clean and in good condition. My tank has 2 peterol taps each side of the tank with 2 outlets. the carbs have 2 pipes on the bottom of the carbs intake i think and 2 pipes futher up on the carbs return pipes i think. When I turn the petrol taps on petrol pours out of the backs of each carbs in to the air box. I change the pipes round on each tap because I thought I might have got the in pipes and returs pipes the wrong way round. The Bikes does run. Any Idea guys what the problem may be or are the in takes and return pipes the problem. The bikes a 1979 Eleven Special Standard. I await your answers and hope to tinker with her and get this proplem sorted. Regards Scott
