I phoned up Yamaha uk with my vin number and went though to customer services and they told me my xj600 was a French sold original bike hope it helps

Hello I've just got my first bike an xj600 1991 and I need to know is it a division or pre division Yamaha couldn't tell me except it came from France and is know as a 4br1? I've just got a xj600 but don't know anything about it as it's my first bike and just taking my test soon but this came up at a too good i thought to not buy it. I've been told it's a 4br1 xj 600 but need front fork oil seals brake master cyclinder seals and rear caliper as bleed nipple broke off and previous owner had snapped stud extractor in it as well. My question is is it a division model or pre division or what any help would be appreciated as Yamaha il just said its from France and is a xj600s ? And how do you post pictures on here ?
