Just bought it, love it. But I know with most bikes/cars several years of a model's parts might fit it. i.e. mine's a 99, what other years will fit? I'm wanting it black, but I think I might be better off just to buy all the painted parts and then sell mine. Should save me some since mine are in pristine condition and I just want to switch to black. Anyways, advice?

I've owned mostly Vulcans for many years. Just bought my first Yamaha. It's 99 Royal Star Venture. Love it. I live in the Louisville, KY area. Looking forward to some rides! I'm 34, an IT Geek and a Pink Floyd fan. Jeff
