Never had one mate . What did you think yourself and what are you thinking of getting next ?
-
You could definitely make it fit . But what will you have then ? Will the forks be long enough etc ? Why do you want to swap it out ?
-
Come on Grouch , do you really want the work experience kid working on your bike down at the local Yammy dealer ? He wont care about it like you do . Plus the feeling of satisfaction after servicing your own bike and riding by the dealership with a wad of notes still in your wallet . Priceless !

Fair play to the Dude , biking's for everybody .
-
That's some technical stuff you'd be getting into there Hed. If you can do it will you make me a set of race pipes for my LC ??
-
Hey Congrats man ! Nice little bike (almost as nice as my CG , lol) . And don't worry , at 32 you are a mere foetus compared to some of the crusty old farts on here , lol . (which does make them very good people to ask advice from )

Just found this thread this morn . Some nice work there Callum !

Ybr 125 Center stand/pedal sring (hook) on correctly?
KevtheRev replied to 125fightingmachine's topic in General
It should be on the left Louis . -
I always keep any receipts for parts etc in an envelope in the owners manual . Just in case like .
-
Hi Hedley , all that stuff is easily sorted . Youd be best off replacing the pipe rather than trying to bodge it , I reckon . Best of luck with your new bike !
-
And hopefully it don't blow up before you get that far .
-
Nice fix , well done . Keep the cable well lubed and keep an eye on it , it'll probably last years .
-
Oh lovely little bike ! One of the first I remember seeing as a kid . I had one of the Benly 200's much later . A few years ago a friends brother picked up one of the trail versions with the high exhausts for next to nothing , and in good nick too .
-
Looking good mate ! I'd think about replacing those knobbly tyres if you'll be using the bike on road .
-
Always nice when someone says thanks . You are most welcome Milan .
-
I wouldn't be one for powerwashing the bike . Generally a squirt of WD and a wipe of a rag . Different for off road bikes though .
-
I use a 50/50 mix of petrol and diesel in a spray bottle , plus whatever rags and old toothbrushes etc . It'll shift most oily muck .
-
I usually keep one o' these behind the hall door for unwanted callers . The "Hurley Stick " , teaching scrotes manners since the Bronze Age !
-
Check the battery terminals for good contact and make sure they're tight for starters .
-
Hi Tony , welcome aboard . I'm sure you've a wealth of information to share having worked with bikes . Nice one .
-
Must check it out . Any links Drewps ? They look good , I do like the scitsu tacho though .
-
I'm thinking of getting one of these little beauts for my LC350 rebuild - http://www.scitsu.com/ , One o' those temp gauges would be nice too .
-
Best o' luck with the new bike man !

Fifty Bucks!!?? I wonder what kind of nick it was in . Imagine that engine in a Thundercat chassis ??
