  1. Sounds like it needs a service . It takes about an hour to service the thing but learning how to do it in an hour takes years lol. Welcome to the forum . Try charging the battery and a new spark plug , maybe someone you know could give you a hand ?
  2. Dunno Mace , you'd have to check part No's or have 'em side by side .
  3. A good cleaning might do the job . I've heard those ultrasonic cleaners are good for carbs . If your not too sure wait until you give the manual a good read . Best o' luck .
  4. Hi Tia , should be a simple enough job . Have you googled for any particular ones ?
  5. We are a broad church here Vario my son , and can respect all of Gods creations .
  6. As Slice says , "As long as it doesn't foul anywhere" , It's a mudguard . A slimmed down guard with a fender extender would be nice . The one on my bike is off a mountain bike rear mudguard . I found it , lol! It's on the front , rightly keeps the crap off too . Fame at last ! lol , I've seen some nice mudguards made from old tyres ,
  7. Hey , congratulations Kiwi , make sure you rack up plenty o' miles now .
  8. Hi Grouch , I stuck a video up for you in the vid section ,
  9. It doesn't always rain , just most of the time , lol .
  10. Sounds like crank seals to me Milan , but very little info so just a guess really .
  11. Sounds like it's banjaxed !! Probably crank seals .
  12. Hi lads , I've noticed a lot of you oldfarts are retired , why don't you get over to Ireland for a spot of rest and relaxation this Summer . Much easier to get somewhere to stay than at the IOM and and cheaper for you Brits with the Sterling rate , always somewhere to camp ,and an awesome racing experience with the bikes within touching distance . I guarantee you'll be back , lol .
  13. I saw a vid very similar to that , think it was from Thailand . One of the tealeaves got shot in the spine and wound up paralyzed on his knees . There it is ! That'll be the last bike he tries to nick .
  14. Awesome ! They don't fanny about when they're building jetskis either .
  15. I think they had a kickstart as well ! When men were men eh ?!
  16. Hi there , best of luck with the bike . Plenty of experience to draw from on here pal .
  17. Welcome aboard ! Bikes are much easier to deal with than cars . I mean for starters you've only got two wheels to worry about instead of four !
  18. I was a big Schwantz fan back in the day , so I didn't want to nick his Revvin' Kevin monicker , lol . Welcome aboard !
  19. Hi Steve , the Prime position should flow freely , whereas the on/res positions need a vacuum , usually from the inlet stub , to work . My first guess at your running problems would be an air leak somewhere between the airbox and the cylinder head, so check the sealing at airbox , carb and for cracks in the inlet stub . But before you do that pop into the new member section and say HI , you'll get more answers that way . Best of luck !
  20. Check for leaking floats and examine the float needle and seat for wear . Also check the fuel switch on the tank and make sure that it is not leaking .
