After many years on v-twins, I need something a bit less high-maintenance, though still good performance. Got an offer on a Thunderace from a mate, so this is the current steed: 2001 reg, 12k miles. Planned mods are: YZF750 swingarm & hugger EBC sintered brake pads Pazzo levers Techspec kneegrips Lots of polish so you'll probably see some random and newbie-level queries in the next few months! Thanks for teh replay - I'll post a bio later. I *think* Ive sussed the holes - may have been for bar risers, as they are too 'burred' to be a Yam feature. Time for some mods of my own!

I've just bought a 2001 Thunderace - can anyone advise the purpose of the 'spare holes' in the top yoke? Thanks
