hi im lee from coventry i just picked up a red 1983 yamaha rx50 today looking for any info about them cheers.

Hello today i picked up a rare 1983 yamaha rx50 in red. Anyone got any info on these bikes as there is not much info about them on the web. as far as i know they made less than 2000 of them and you couldnt actually buy them they were given away by way of a raffle. One was given to each dealer by yamaha as a way of creating showroom traffic as far as i know it was only in america cheers.
