  1. had my pads and new sump plug and a few other bits arrive the other day. Cant believe the state of the old pads.... Rears were a nice easy swap. However..... the front was and still is an issue :-( First: the notch was ruined by the previous owner: Bit of light dremel work and shes free, However i didnt realise the pin was in 2 parts, A small cap on the outside then the actual pin further in: the actual pin has been completely smoothed out of its hex key shape. Its perfectly round so the previous owner must have attempted a drill out and failed. looks like its up to me now. DAMNEEEEEET
  2. Kind of in my opinion. Had a mx125. Rotax 122 33hp bike. Used on dual carriageway every day for a year. I used to not hold it at top revs for long periods of time. Would roll off. Down change accelerate hard then carry on as normal.
  3. Hey mate, Yes i got the spindle back (reminds me i need to email him thanks). spindles spot on and the axle slides right through. Waiting on my rear wheel bearing kit to arrive this week and then ill get the back wheel in properly. Ordered yesterday: Valves (from the US) rear wheel bearings and dust seals front and rear brake pads oil filter magnetic sump plug and spare washers LED numberplate light for the rear just got the following to order then MOT time Bicycle speedometer (until i can afford a trailtech vapor) some sort of battery horn front and rear wheel spacers to get the SM wheels to fit. not long now..... excited :-)
  4. yeah its a decent set for me for sure!!!. especially as it was free :-)

It's because I would need custom bearings to run direct bearings to axle with these wheels. This is the method I've seen the us guys use without issue.

Sorry I need the inner hole through the spindle drilling out from 20mm to 22mm or a tiny bit bigger. My axle is 22mm oda. Thanks Ross

I need my spindles ida opening from 20mm to 22mm. Got cash just no one to do the job. Spindles 6.5 inches long. So I need the entire ida to be 22mm for my 22mm axle to slide through. Thanks Ross
  15. FYI i emailed the MOT station im going to and the guys replied saying it will pass as long as the light comes on when he presses the switch. not fussed about dipped/main beam.
  16. Jimmy, Ive got nothing on the otherside, only the engine stop switch. also i cant see any wiring for it if i were to have different switchgear (unless the right handside switchgear is aftermarket and the wires are there under the heat shrink). also please note shes an import so i dont know if the wirings any different for "Europe" Thanks Ross.
  17. That's the headlight switch I've got
  18. Any ideas on headlight? my lights are either on or off. no option for a "full beam" my switch only has off and on.
  19. thought the law required 1 mirror, or is that cars? suppose indicators could be added t a later date. as long as i get road legal for summer :-)
  20. its going to be purely a weekend bike, it wont be seeing any rain as far as im planning anyways. not much to strip/clean/re-paint i suppose. left to do: Order and fit rear sprocket to new wheels Order and fit new chain slider Order and fit indicators Order and fit front/rear brake pads Order and fit new Wiseco valves Make/fit spacers for front and rear new wheels Order and fit cheap push bike speedo (temporary) until i order a trailtech vapor Order and fit switchgear Order and fit horn Order and fit some sort of LED numberplate lights (going to wire into the rear light) Borrow a mirror (for mot) mot tax insure RIDEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE
  21. to be honest id like to strip it completely down, get it fully repainted but its a bike from 1999, its been offroaded. i just want to ride it
  22. Looks like my wheels came off a drz. So I've sourced sprockets. Just measured up for spindle and spacers..
  23. 320mm would be nice, but i dont know the power of the stock brakes yet as shes yet to be ridden. im trying to find a sprocket to fit the wheels. any ideas? http://www.amazon.co.uk/POWERITE-808-41-SPROCKET-REAR-Sprockets-Chiaravalli/dp/B008K1A1UU/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1401709908&sr=8-1&keywords=powerite+808-41 was on it, however it was shagged. and the standard talon dont seem to line up. so may have to re-order. its just difficult getting the correct tooth count.
  24. These have turned up today.....and somethings been delivered later... but ill let the pictures do the talking tonight :-)
