Hi black hat appreciated muchly. Wen I had the carb off I can see right throuhgt the jets and I've notice the needle sticks out a lot I might check the clearince today and go over the carb again. Does the needle cause any of the problems stated

Hey all again thanks for your input. I've been away do sorry for the long wait. I have had the carb off today ultrasonic cleaned and back on she took a few good kicks and started with the choke on soon as I took it off she died. I've tried my best to start her again she fire a bit then dies and other times just back fires. Any help would be appreciated guys I'm always gratful

Thanks for your help again mate. I will try a tommorow. She back fires after a few good kicks aswell could this be likebubsay a weak spark and the coil/plug is weak or no wotking. I'm gonna reset every thing back to stock on the carb but how far after I have turned it right in do u turn it out ??? Thanks again I appreciate your help

Hey all well today I got her running.I've took her out and basically she cuts out whilst riding then she's a nightmare to start litraley I've kicked a hundred times and nothing. Please help lol

Hay all been awhile hope every 1s new years r going well. I've got a new toy today a yz 400 4 stroke Its not for starting. There's excellent compression the decomp works fine there's fuel getting to the plug. The fella I got it off has been using it in Spain but now moved back to the UK near the sunny sea of Cleethorpes ha not its freezing which makes me think the air fuel MUX could need altering. Does any 1 know what the setting should be ??. P.s also does any 1 know the correct way to kick her over thanks as always in advance

My son cleaned the carb yesterday and took the reeds out dont know why but he did lol.

Hey all ive bought a dt for off roading. I had a full top end done and run it in nice. Ive just returned in this afternoon from a track. It rides ok but there seems to be no gear ratio what i mean is im changing gear really quick. Theres no servo on sk i know it has yop end but i would pop the clutch to help it along but it feels like its got no power. Im going to have mess with it tomoz but wanted some advice. Ive just had a idea could this happen if the reed blocks the wrong way round ?????

There's. No mixture screw on the side. The only brass screw I ca n see is on top on the manifold. Side the plug. Was I charcoal. Colour ? Thankz for helping me mate

I've got it to idle now it was. The ballast resistor its starts with out a problem. The prob I'm having now is soon as throttle is applied it cuts out

hi all hope everybody is ok i have a qiuck question if anybody can help me please ? its my majestey playing up again ive had a fresh complete top end and new plug. the problem i have got is it will only start with easy start and when it does start there no idle what so ever so it cuts out unless litte revs are used. when i took the carb off the manifold is wet with petrol does anybody have any idea what it could be please tia

Update I managed to get a piston and barrel Off eBay for a mbk skyliner. It's gone straight on.

Hey all nit been on for abit working away so nit been able. I've a Yamaha majesty 125 that heat seized. I've had the barrel rebored from 53.75 to 54.00 no but the score is still there so I need to go bigger. My problem is Yamaha don't do bigger so a nee barrels the only option I don't really have funds to do this yet. Every time I put oversized piston yamaha majesty 125 a mbk skyliner comes up. I've research this mbk and watch some reviews On youtube all state it's just exactly a majesty 125 with a different badge. All parts seem to match on flee bay plastics,lights etc. This mbk does a oversized piston 54.20 mm so foes any 1 know if I might have found a last chance saloon lol???

I've never messed with suction carbs before so a lean mix to me in 1 if theses means nothing lol. How would I adjust this??

It starts ok from cold and bogs out from the Get go
