The inner hub on the CLUTCH. There's the basket then the inner hub with the splines on then friction plates, pressure plate then springs Whitch go throught the pressure plate in to the inner hub and tighten down The 5 lugs where the springs tighten into on the pic two if mine had been welded and snapped

Hey all hope all is well no Xmas madness is over I've pulled my project 1990 3rs yz125 out to finish her off. The last owner welded the inner hub were the springs tighten to so undoing them caused it to snap. The problem I'm having now is no one seems to be able to get one not know what other years may fit lol so I'm calling on the yamaha friends for some wisdom in helping me find one or info on other years please!!!!! Thanks in advance always appreciate it

Hey all quick question I have a 426 I went to a track on it for the day and put her away under a cover in the garden she was fine then but 4/5 weeks later I've gone yo go oout and the clutch is slipping. I'm thinking its moisture in the oil does this sound OK and if so how can I cure it

  9. I've stripped it jets float valve every thing out and ultra sonic cleaned at my local shop
  10. Lol wen I start her first thing in the morning she fires straight up and rides fine until I put power down quick she died like the ignitions turned off. Once the engine is completely cut out she bumps straight away or kicks over 1st kick no messing. I've cleaned carb changed plug coil disconnected ignition and kill switch also tryed turning in and out air fuel screw and clear cap vent all connections are plug and wires tight. I'm trying to think wen the throttles on hard the fly wheel will spin a lot faster which may cause the woodruff key to loose grip I will update soon as I'm taking the fly wheel off
  11. I appreciate ya help on this fellas
  12. Yeah good connectors all plugged in. I'm wondering if my ht leads shot or the woodruff keys sheered wrn I put thottle on the fly wheels spinng

  17. Hi again fellas I've checked and double checked your ideas and tested it and its still doing it. I did notice today its starting when the servo opens or more power is needed

I've tried every wire and nothing. Yeah measuring in ohms I've now taken the stator off still no readings from the connecter. If I put the black lead on the pick up and touch a coil I get a reading 56.2 and nothing else.

So I've unplug the generator wires today got the old multi meter out. I've checked all the phases and no reading came from it I crossed andvcheckrd differentconnections nothing. So i vr gone deeper and taken the fly wheel off and checking the coils. I have put the black wire from my Meter on the the pick up senser and touched the red wire on each coil all of them read 56.2 I don't know if this is spec or not because I've search every where to no avail. Can any 1 shed any light on this as there's a spark not a massive 1 but there's defo 1 there. I've also put a new plug in. Thanks guys in advance

Think it's a daft way of saying warm her up before u ride

I've just read some where that once she starts from cold QOUTE since this model is equiped with a accelerator pump if the engine is raced (the throttle fully opened and closed ) the air fuel mix will be to rich and engine may stall. Also unlike a 2 stroke engine this model can idle UNQOUTE. Wen I've started her I have let it run for a min and began riding not hard just steady I'm thinking after reading this that this is reason behind the stall because um not allowing 2 3 mins to warm up. What does any 1 think ???????
