Anyone own a SR400?
I think the owner forgot the padding. A few layers of race foam and the tushy will be cushy.

Bringing Her Back to Life
Got the lights mounted on a crappy pc of aluminum - for now. I don't have decent aluminum stock laying around that I can make proper stuff outta. I just want to figure out a decent mounting method.

Bringing Her Back to Life
2 coats of primer now applied to the top case. I've removed the shift drum and forks from the bottom case half. I'm boiling the front half in rad fluid to remove all the gunk

Bringing Her Back to Life
Bottom case all taped. Got my respirator on and shaking the can

I stole the 'reflective black' vinyl idea from Felix. My bike will be gloss black and I'll do a combo of reflective black and white decals. I am going to put reflective black YAMAHA on the tank along with a raised yamaha badge. I put a white decal beside the badge to give an idea of what it'll look like.

Bringing Her Back to Life
Thanks buddy. I slightly damaged the outside of the seal for the kicker. I got a little rammy. I should have used my aluminum drift. Instead I used a socket - which moved on me. Seal should be ok

Bringing Her Back to Life
I replaced the JIS screws holding the oil pump to the case. I try to replace them any chance I can. I use stainless, socket head cap screws.

Got my oil pump and water pump installed today. Broke the keeper clip for the oil pump gear clip. One more thing to buy.

Time to get a rain suit Ryan. Holy crap dude - it's almost there.

Anyone own a SR400?
Thanks - that's quite a compliment. Lol. The SR is nice, just lacking something.

Anyone own a SR400?
Not bad looking, but in my mind that SR400 needs this To make it look something like this Cafe racer all the way.

2013 XJ6 Diversion F - Bar end mirrors and what to do with existing mirrors
Worst thing that can happen is that they won't look pretty - meh, give it a go. That's how you develop new skills.

The Leviathan Project (DT125RE)
I would expect at least 10 ponies from a decent pipe.

The Leviathan Project (DT125RE)
I like it, but I MAY be biased. Lol. Toomeys were THE pipe back in the day. A lot of good pipe builders out there now. Hardly any in Canada. We do have one in Nova Scotia - only cause he defected from the UK. Came to join us colonials. Lol.

New rubber looks good on the rims.

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
That sucks. Obviously someone did the job, but didn't bother spinning the bearings to make sure everything was ok. Sad to say, but next time get the socket that fits.

Make some flat adapter plates that will fit flush over the 2 holes. They might be available as an aftermarket part for your bike. If not, they can be made easily enough.

That pipe gives the bike an RZ look/feel. Brings out the road bike side.

That's a tough one noise. Your bar pattern with the double 90's is not optimal for pulling wires. The only thing that I can suggest (other than drilling some holes - which you've done) is injecting some electricians lube into the tube to reduce the friction a little in the tube

The Leviathan Project (DT125RE)
Who made your pipe - just curious. You UK guys have some wicked pipe tuners over there. That's one thing we lack here in Canada - at least for the RZ
