  1. Yeah for sure, but a set of stainless pipes will weigh less than one of my stock pipes. Plus I'll get a hp increase.
  2. Yeah, she's chubby for sure. I need some stainless pipes - gain some Hp and lose weight (win/win). Will weigh it at some point.
  3. Haven't had a chance to do a lot of suspension tuning yet. It is stuff on the front end. The back isn't bad. Spring rate on the R6 shock is similar to the RZ. Not enough time in the seat yet to give good feedback.
  4. Yes the front is lowered. I'm trying to help improve the geometry of the bike. With the R1 front end (less offset) and the FJ swinger (52 mm longer) the handling would be slower. I dropped the front to help compensate
  5. Thanks buddy. It's been a PITA to get it running properly once I had it running. Seems to go decently. I got it running just in time for winter storage. Lol
  6. Have been working on some painting and some other stuff Still have to do some speed blocks. Rubber arrived today. Dunlop Q3's I've had my bike on a rear stand forever. I put the front stand on. When I did, I found that the front tire has some serious drag on it. Feels like the calipers aren't releasing. I may have to do a caliper rebuild. Argh. It's probably the only thing I haven't rebuilt yet. WTF!
  7. Yes, I don't think that it will fall apart as I'm riding [emoji6]
  8. Relays all wired and the indicators are working properly.
  9. I've had a chance to re-paint the tank and fenders now. 10000x better. I've knocked down the gloss on the black paint - I used gloss black and have done 2 part clear gloss that I will finish with. I've added another layer of glass to my fairing and now trimmed out. Just need to sand the surface of the fairing, do some minor patching, sand more, prime and paint. These arrived today. They will be used to switch power to my rear indicators.
  10. Deep shagging on the carpet. Lol
  11. Shag covered seat. For you Brit boys, over here shag has a different meaning. Lol
  12. I think the conditions for painting were considerably less than optimal. I knocked all the gloss down and now have some more paint. Today is supposed to be in the 20's, so it should be ok for painting. You are right about the paint batches. Same goes for buying carpet or anything that is made in batches. There are always batch variations. Sometimes they are quite noticeable. Happy belated BDay!
  13. Got the tank prepped and shot some black. The black looks a little hazy. I shook the shite outta the can. I even put the can in hot water for a bit.
  14. I think I'm going to do the vintage Yamaha speed blocks in white (on a black bike). I like the two tone.
