Hey joe I have fitted a set of renthal braced, they were tighter but not to the extreme that I could not fit them, found that the cables on the right hand side were fouling on the ignition barrel & simply zippy clipped it out of the way still with enough movement to not be to tight that it could cause an issue. If you need a hand just let me know

Little update for everyone, got them all sited nicely & in place, however the brakes now don't want to bleed. I am using a spanner on the nipple, pumping the lever, un doing the nipple, (getting no feeling or pressure in the lever) then re tightening the nipple which is not doing anything but wasting time, is there something I have not done ? Sorry if this is a really obvious question. Shaun

Hey everyone, just after a little advice or guidance if you may. I bought some Goodrich hoses (race setup) so there are two front lines opposed to one line to a caliper then a pipe going over, anyway I have no mounting point for one of the lines however I have an adaptor which looks like it will screw in somewhere & brake line will clamp in.. Does anyone have any advice as to maybe where or what is best, bike is a 2010 yam xj6n Thanks for any help Regards Shaun
  7. Hey everyone, we'll being new to biking (other than a 50 which is not a long distance machine...) I finally got out for my first ride! Have to say that I loved it, got up to Buxton and around some B roads & A roads in the area before heading back to j&s with one of my mates and his dad on his new bike, still need to work on my confidence in the bends a little bit however this should come in time. Hoping to get out a lot more now, here is a pic from the day after I have fitted my renthal braced bars not so long ago, just need to get my Goodrich shadow hoses on next week. Comments welcome

hey all, sorry to all mods if this is in the wrong section. So I started playing darts when I was a young'un with my grandad & have not played for maybe 8-14 years now and after throwing a few nights in the local I'm wanting to start again. anyway after looking at darts & my grandad not being able to advice me on what to get as his memory is not all there, there is a HUGE choice I am curious if anyone can give me some assistance, I know tungsten are the ones to go for as you can group better but is there any difference between the brands such as harrow/unicorn or are there any form of rule for playing in league's that a player must not have a certain brand? ( Know that one sounds silly but im almost like starting new) I know my current weight of dart is 26g tungsten but they are battered and I would like a new set. thanks for any help & again sorry if the wrong thread, any hints and tips would also be welcomed haha Shaun
  15. yeah I was just curious if a cheapo halfords option would be just as good as say a castrol brand. cheers for the advice though guys
  16. Okay so my new braided hoses are here & I'm getting ready to fit them, I found some brake fluid in the garage & that has been there a good few years so in the bin that goes haha, anyway is there such a thing as a better fluid? Or would any dot 4 be ok? Sorry if that sounds stupid in anyway I have done a quick search & nothing came up. Shaun

  19. Hello everyone, need abit of advice on where to get a decent plate made up, this may sound silly but I have ordered 2 off eBay and both are shocking quality. I'm unsure weather to go for 8x6 or the standard size (so far have ordered standard sizes) but fancy a smaller one now, what are the chances of being stopped & in your honest opinion is it worth the risk?? Would a slogan on the bottom also cause any issue's? Nothing crude but I know technically not meant to have them. Cheers for any help guys & gals Shaun

I have had my xj6n about 6 months or so and find that I am filling the tank every 70-90 miles but that is still leaving about 2 bars left as I dont trust the bars they move far to quick when they get lower down!... that or it's all in my mind..
  24. Cheers for the info I will have a look into those brushes see what I can get before the weekend
