Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Thanks a lot again everyone!! The kind words really mean a lot! What a nice response! I just can't wait to get out there and enjoy it this year, my first full year of riding! Flip I would have struggled with that engine rebuild if it wasn't for you so extra special thanks to letting me bug you at all hours via text to help me through some tricky parts!

Unless the valves and seats are pitted I would just lap them as suggested with the suction cup and paste.

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Well Flip you'll be happy to know I took some time tonight and modified some rear pieces to give the bike a more "finished" look. What do you guys think??

Wow that turned out wicked man!! Better than I expected, well done! There are slideshow makers you can get for videos, they're all over the place, just download a free one and have at it! Youtube might even have that option built in now, I'm not sure.

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Yeah if anything I'll add an R1/R6 rear end fairings on there and call it done, but I may sell it before then.... I have a feeling I'll outgrow this bike after the season, but I'm going to enjoy the fucking shit out of it before then! I tied the front LEDs into the signals so they turn off when you signal so they are now dual purpose running/signal lights.

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Yeah I've got room for a bigger sprocket still, axle sits about halfway right now so I have give either way. I like the lights, but I have always liked lights... (I did this as a hobby for a while, just a few flashing lights here: www.policecardiecast.com ) I have some extra for sale signs from my house, I never ended up putting them at the end of the street and sold anyway so I can use those for some mockups for side panels, but I think I'm going to leave it like this for now. I may source out a complete R1 rear end and try and modify the plastic tail piece to fit as another option, but for now this looks great to me. A big improvement over stock in my opinion.

Got my 17t front sprocket on order, +1 from stock, should fix my gear ratio being too close between shifts. Also got some mini yellow LEDs off ebay and decided to put them up front instead of the reflectors that were there. and just a nice shot of the new sexy ass end

So with this new 49t sprocket the bike tops out at about 185km/h..... as opposed to the 46t which topped out at 205km/h.... seems like i have to shift WAY too fast with this sprocket and there's not much between 5th and 6th. I think I'm going to try upping the front sprocket by a tooth and see how that feels.

Just for a laugh snowed in trucks
In Canada when it's 10 degrees in October it's freezing and time for the winter coat. In Canada when it's 10 degrees in March it's shorts and t-shirt time!

Not sure about your fuel leak but I had some issues with mine... I just made sure to clean the surfaces and nuts/bolts real good, got a new seal and tightened up the petcock just enough to seat the seal, but not squish it out of place, haven't had a problem since....BUT, yours is leaking through the threads! So that doesn't help... hope you get it sorted! And definitely make sure you replace with the same or larger gauge wire whenever you fuck with wiring! lol Now you know...
