Cleaning a really mucked up Bike
My dealer has 28 year old bike parts, wouldn't hurt to ask! If eBay is an option..you can try that too. Can't be lazy when it comes to bikes...they're just too much fun to work on!

Sweet, thanks buddy! yeah, 16 gauge is what I meant

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Just plain 1/16 steel, I figured I'd be painting it black anyway. I might just end up bolting it on anyway, we'll see how it turns out with the tabs I made and how good of a job they do with my prototype.

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
haha oh yeah, anything that works! I took my prototype down to the sheet metal place today, they're going to make it up for me for $50 including the material...not bad I'd say!

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Thanks buddy!! I searched high and low until I found the perfect tail light... I like how the dual round look matches the headlights. Everything's gotta flow!! I started making modifcations to the back chassis to attach the tail light, and then mocked up a bracket with some cardboard, which I'm going to take over to the local sheet metal place to get cut, or cut myself, depending on how much they want for the job....then I'll get the bracket welded up on the back (or bolted for now) and paint it all up a nice gloss black. Thanks man! Hopefully it all comes together in the end... it's honestly just fun working on it. I think just cut some plastic to fit...heat it up, then press it into place, maybe I'm mistaken.

New Virus Comming
lol that, among other things.... going up on Saturday, weathers been shit and people don't know how to drive so the roads are all fucked, have to go up to mississauaga on saturday anyway to drop off some goalie pads someone wants to buy so I'll just head up then - I'm going to grab the head off the best motor, and then give my bro in law the rest of the shit I don't need...let him hold onto all the parts! lol some scary shit in there I bet!

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Hmm maybe, with some reinforcement of fiberglass on the back it could work! Got the wiring all hooked up for the tail light now, but I need to get a bracket welded on the back to hold it on, just a simple metal plate will do.

Can you copy and paste to textpad or word? Or is it just a problem here... I'm thinking it's a user error.

Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Got my LED tail light in (FINALLY!) only took over a month to get shipped here.... crazy. It's pretty decent however, and quite bright. Time will tell how well it stands up to the elements... I'm going to seal the plastic with some good glue/silicone to make sure no water or moisture can get in there to speed it's demise. Project 86 FZ600 - "Black Yamba"
Thanks Noise! Not a bad idea DT! I was thinking about shaping some fiberglass out of some craft foam. I've seen that done before with some nice results... always open to more ideas though.
