thanks mervin this may be my only course of action ,unless anybody else knows better.

can anybody help me to find a nos rear mudguard for my 1979 xs400d any pointers or web addreses would be most welcome. Drewpy has inspired me to get mine out of the garage where it has been laid up for 11years. thanks to all in advance,will post new as project hopefully takes off.
