Hey guys new member here. Just bought my first dt last week and i love it. Its a 99 model with renthal bars but no other major mods. My main problem is restriction. My bike will only rev cleanly to around 6500-7000 revs then or 45-50mph but will go no harder. I have trawled through numerous other posts trying to find my answer but to no avail. I dont seem to have a reed valve behind the speedo. Neither do i have the green and black wire which needs to be earthed. I plan cutting my exhaust tomorrow for a look in there and have remove the restrictiors there however I dont see this as the only main retardation on my bikes performance as it is dreadfully slow. I have done the airbox mod and also had the carb professionally cleaned out. any help greatly appreciated many thanks scotty
