Me and a friend of mine are both driving a YBR 250 in Shanghai, China. We use it for our daily commute to work and back home and to get out of the city from time to time. As a city bike it's perfect, the consumption is relatively low and it's still powerful enough to pass all the cars. I also like it for it's reliability. So far there was no single issue, I drove around 4000km on mine and my friend 2000km on his.

Hello I would like to do some modifications and maintenance on my YBR250. So I'm searching for a service manual for it, but the only ones I could find were in Portuguese, because apparently this model is very popular in Brazil (I don't understand Portuguese). Does anybody know a place where i can download English service manuals? Even on http://yamaha-motor.com they don't seem to provide them. Thanks!
  3. I currently own my third Yamaha, it's a YBR250. I used to have a YBR125G, which was a really awesome bike. I once drove it over 10`000KM from Shanghai to Thailand during one Month of time. Unfortunately I had to drop it in the desert of Inner Mongolia, because my friend had an accident and broke his arm there, so I had to get him out in some kind of emergency way, and I couldn't take the bike with me. Now I bought the YBR250 and use it every day. I'm totally happy with it.
