nice to see you guys, i completely forgot about the meeting, i was there just by accident.

why you should have to pay if is not your fault? recently my wife was involved in a car accident, something easy, a car bend her rear door easy fix with a hammer. she get from the 3rd insurance company £1400... more with £300 than she paid for the car when she buy it 2 years ago and had 50.000 miles less. that because she decide to keep the car because the second offer was to get £1850 and leave to car to go... she don`t even had to make a call to make the claim, they call her. I don`t think things stay worst with the bikes. they usually offer you a better price, unless you spend a lot of money to restore that bike before. because if you had a restored bike and you don`t have agreed value with your insurance company, I guess you are fucked.

they need to identify the "moped" riders... hmm.. f idiots, the bike have plates and they don`t look like they steal the bikes.

of course you don`t have the same satisfaction, is the human nature, we get bored of everything (excepting bikes). well, you will find the civil life a lot better, even if you will not travel so much when I was in army, I like it even the army in romania is a lot worst than in UK (we have a word to describe the army experience in romania: you will never know what is the true stupidity until you get in army), but was just one year. I guess after 2-3 years you start losing your attraction for this thing. I will be glad to help you with the aliens if you ever need help.

is just up to you. I jump from 125 to 950 but cruisers not sport. for me, was a great jump. you should be ok if you are not a maniac and you already have some xp with the bikes on the road.

when I buy the xvs950, I do the first service at jordan bike, I buy the bike from them. they tell me before the service will cost me around £260 BUT after they do the service, they ask me to pay £360, coming with things like first service, computer testring, bla bla. so, I tell them I will not pay this amount of money after they tell me a price and they drop the price around £300. was the last time I enter in their shop. when was the time for next service, I try Craig service and I was very happy with the jobs and the price is also very very good. I search for the bill when Craig do my service with his stuffs: £118 complete service + change both tires (my tyres) at this time the oil+ filter was £45 pounds, the spark plugs £5 so, £68 for his work. and there is something like 2,5 hours of work. last service+ one tyre change cost me £65 with my oil, filter and spark plugs and the tyre. I don`t think you will find better in area. the only problem, you have to book your service because is very busy. sometime I have to wait 2 weeks for a window. the MOT cost me £25, I don`t know if is a good price because I don`t try another place

the price you will buy from an UK shop (if you will find one) will be bigger than if you pay the transport and VAT (if is the case) from US. In US, I make my shopings at www.westendmotorsports.com ask them to give you a price for the transport before you buy it.
