  5. not this is the point bippo, I don`t cares if she exist or not, if she is the person who had the accident about tasky speak about. the topic is 2 years old, the user on this forum (because all those is happening in this forum) is 2-3 days old. can be anyone under this nick.. and this anyone come here just to troll and get some attention. a decent person come and say: tasky, i`m the person who who speak about, and I found this topic offensive and inexact, in fact this is what happening ... bla bla bla bla her attitude is low and I don`t think she have any right to demand anything. and the only person who is looking like an idiot is fazerstun, not me, not others who reply on this topic.

  7. i`m interesed to upgrade on 1900 but I still don`t see any live and I will not buy one before a testdrive. I want be sure is not to heavy for me... i fell good on my 950 at 300 kg loaded but 345 kg of the 1900 can be a problem for me. I have under 65 kg and I keep my muscles in the fridge for special ocazion, so, I will not upgrade before I will have the chance to ride one... i`m in the list for testdrive but seems like they don`t have time for me.. i apply over 6 months ago .. maybe is time to renew this ) you chose the A standard model from the dealers that sell the one I give you the link?

  11. fazerstun is not so important what the consultant tell you and what exactly was happening. helmets, gears, rider skill help to reduce the damage you take in case of accident. there is a chance so those things can save your life. I saw no reason for people in UK to not wear protective gears. this summer I was in romania, over 3000 miles just in this country, I jump from 25 degree in UK at 41 degree in just 3 days. if in UK I never ride without protective gears, in romania I ride a lot in t-shirt. why that? because the chance to fail from my bike because of high temperature and fail under a lorrie is bigger than to have a crush because of an accident and in this case the protective gears don`t save me. so, I do this... somehow like you... but not because i`m lazy. btw, your long motorbike boots probably save your leg for big injuries, in case your legs was catch between the car bumper and your engine, right? nice bike, (the cagiva) a friend of mine have one like this... the only one in romania. he buy it from leeds area

I change my handlebars with some flanders custom but my bike is a cruiser. anyway, just in case this will help you, I have to drill the new handlebars for switch boxes fixing and I also have to buy some custom grips because the original handlebars have... fitting things (lol) for bar ends and the custom ones don`t have anything where you can fit the genuine bar ends. anyway, for you will not be a problem the bar ends because on the market are tons of custom bar ends for sport bikes.. well, for any kind of bike excepting cruisers (1" diameter). if you have to drill your handlebars for switch cases, make sure you will drill in the correct place.. measure 2-3 times before you drill. if you don`t have stuffs for pipe drilling, do what i do, start with a small drill bit (1 mm) and finish with the dimension you need, using progresive drills bits sizes... in my case I needed 5 mm hole. I do this with handlebars fitted on the bike.

  16. you are wrong again, he don`t have to give priority to the vehicles on lane 2 he have to give priority for EVERITHING is in his right side, that include 10 lanes if there is 10 lanes. this is his mistake. your mistake is because you don`t check your return in the lane 2 is safe. this is what they will tell you, and will be both fault. how somebody say a signal light mean just the bulb is working so you have to take all precaution before you change your position on the road. another thing; you say you agree abount don`t give signal on a single carriageway if you come back on tha lane, right? why? maybe because is logic you will come back in your lane after overtacking.. well, this is what i guess is your logic now, you are forced by the law in dualcarriage way to keep the right lane clear, so after overtaking you MUST come back on the left lane.. this is not logic enough you will have to get here so is not need to give a signal?   18. those are guidance lanes, (in the picture) I think this is how you call them in UK.. and yes, you have to give signal if you are in left side because you move in a guidance lane and you will turn left, after you pass the junction in the place you are now, you have to give signal left to indicate you will change the lane and you will change the direction (left) in last post you can see at the end what I say about "specific lane for changing direction" is exactlly this situation. BUT in dual cariageway, you don`t have to give signal left because you are not allowed to stay in the right lane unless you overtacking or chenge the direction to right. after overtacking you MUST make lifesaver and you are not allowed to get back in the left lane unless is safe. and if is safe, logic, you don`t have to give signal. also, logic, you have better speeed than the vehicle you just overtacking, right? you can do what you wish, is your choise, but how the cop tell me, " you don`t have to" and again about motorways, no, I continue to say you are wrong because, again, you MUST stay in the left lane except overtacking (and slow moving trafic) and again, like on dual carriage you are not allowed to come on the second lane if is not safe, also the vehicle on lane 1 and 2 , BOTH, have to give you priority if you come back in lane 2 and one accident is hapening, is you both fault, he because don`t give you priority and you because you don`t check. the only one is right here is the vehicle in lane 2, you will have 50-50 with the vehicle in lane 1. another thing, I read few months ago, if i`m not wrong, on this forum, about somebody doing filtering in stationary traffic and one idiot open his door in front of his bike... 50-50 I say, how the freak 50-50?! filtering is not illegal, opening the doors in the trafic is illegal.   19. if you can, avoid all, they all will try to grab how much they can from your account. read carefully the contract before you sign it and if is something unclear, ask them. don`t go for the cheaper before you understand exactlly what they offer you. you may need some more things like they offer you. things like cover for riding other bikes, personal cover, gears insurance, recovery, hire bike in case something hapening with yours, etc.

I say the same thing on my bikesafe training and the cop prove me I don`t have to give left signal: first case, single carriageway, overtacking, right signal, check mirrors, lifesaver, move on the oncoming way bend, read the road, start overtacking, life saver to check if you pass the car you overtake, no signal left, go back in your lane, enjoy the open road. second case, 2 carriage way: - you are not allowed to undertake a vehicle exception SLOW moving trafic and this just if you do this SAFE for you (like biker) this mean automatically the rider on the second lane don`t need to give a signal left if he move on the left lane. you want overtake him? wait in his ass untill he change the lane, undertake him and you will lose motorways, 3+ bends: you are in lane 3, overtacking a vehicle in lane 2, in this time a vehicle in lane 1 want overtake a vehicle in front of him. you are not obligate to give signal left to warn the vehicle in lane 1 because he must give priority to all other vehicles overtacking him, in this case you in lane 3 and the vehicle in bend 2. also you are not allowed to stay in bend 2-3 exception for overtacking, that mean you both, vehicle in lane 2 and you, have biger speed than the vehicle in lane 1 you can claim a vehicle don`t give signal left when he change the lane from right to left but you will lose. I don`t know what is the low for cars, all what I say now is for bikers, I don`t care about cars law, and I don`t care if they need to give signal left because I know is not mather because i`m not allowed to undertake them. if you speak about this: 133 If you need to change lane, first use your mirrors and if necessary take a quick sideways glance to make sure you will not force another road user to change course or speed. When it is safe to do so, signal to indicate your intentions to other road users and when clear, move over. if you look, is MOVE OVER, this is crap explained, is about overtaking. personally, I some situation, I use to give left signal when is the case... but just a few situation. in rest, i give left signal just when I change the direction, that include the situation when you have to get in a specific lane for changing the direction.
  21. glad you are all ok @captf, you don`t have to give left signal when you change the bends, you have just to give signal for overtacking and changing the direction. he was right to not give the signal. if he don`t get with the entire car on the left bend, he also don`t have to give right signal to come back in right bend, was your duty to wait for him to get completlly in his bend, read the road and just after this overtacking him. remember, is not important who is right, you are the only one who will be hurt, not him... and is useless to be right if you are death. even if is not your duty, preventing to get in a bad situation is the best idea. when I start riding in september 2012, I get in a lot of troubles, most of those with not "my fault" but easy to ovoid if I read the road. now, with over 30.000 miles (over 25.000 on full licence) all those things almost never hapening and if is hapening is because is something I don`t expect to happening and is not about reading the road, are just mistakes of the other road users, or mine. ex: my most common mistake when I was learner, bus stoped on the left bend, car in my left side, me on right bend. in most cases the driver will not see you. even if you are or not in his blind spot. easy to get out from this situation accelerating or breacking and take position in the right side of your bend so you can have time to react. some people use the horn in this situation, not me. roundabout, another place where drivers use to change from left bend to right bend... A LOT OF THEM! I use to stay back a bit if i`m on the right bend so I can safe break if he pull in front of me... also I try to keep in the right side of my bend all those are not practically my fault (I think) but this is not an excuse for me to put me in a danger situation.
