Hey All Am hoping someone could help me here!, I seem to be flying through head light bulbs at a rate of knots, the full beam works but the main headlight keeps blowing. I have been through about 3 bulbs in as many months and dont really notice it during the day with it being so light, it only becomes apparent when riding in the evening. I was hoping someone out there may be able to shed some light (excuse the pun!) on this as to why this keeps happening and what i could check or change to rectify this. Success, thanks guys, have managed to adjust the chain so it has the required amount of play in it, will get back out on the road tomorrow for a road test!!! Sure I will be back again very soon, got the MOT coming up

Thanks, tbh the bike came up at a good time and was one that was within my budget too so happy days, and believe it or not I actually do own a manual for the bike, unfortunately I happen to have shag all luck with anything with a motor, Just waiting for the lawnmower to blow then I will have the full set. Just need to also get my head round the routine checks etc, i passed my CBT in October then with the winter we have had the bike has not really had that much use, hoping to get more out of it as the weather gets better though. Bit of a fairweather rider at the minute till I can get some time on the road!

Hi All Time to introduce myself properly, forgive me for not doing so in my earlier post, tbh i am new to biking and message boards etc so please forgive my ignorance in that matter! My name is Chris, i am 33 and am relatively new to biking, although I wish now that I had taken it up years ago!!! Love getting out on my bike which currently is a yamaha YBR 125, this is my first bike and my aim is to do my practical test at some point in the near future and gradually move up to something with a little more kick (but not too much!!!) I am not the most technically minded person in the world but I am enthusatic to try things with the bike in terms of maintainence and general repairs, so keeping my fingers crossed with that, while I still have all 10 So thats me!!! Hoping for many happy years of biking.

Hi All I am kind of new to biking (loving it mind!!) and would really appreciate any help anyone can give here. I have just noticed that the chain on my bike - YBR125 - appears to be very slack, almost as though there is hardly any tension in it, also noticed when I last had a ride out a couple of days ago that there was a bit of a clicking sound which I am assuming is to do with the looseness of the chain. I am looking for advice please as to what this may be and may have caused this and what I would need to do to fix it please. As I said earlier I am very much a newbee and this is my first bike so probably wont understand any technical speak. So if someone can break it down for me into simple terms then I would really apprciate any help that I get. Thanks all in advance.
