Its made me appreciate that the wind was seriously getting to my ears no they dont get in the way at all but if they do, they show you how to trim a bit off, made my ride out this morning a lot more bearable on the motorways

i've been using the mid setting plug, but used the extra setting today on a ride to the coast with the wife but found her comms were too quiet most times so reverted to the mids. I've no doubt the wind would of wrecked me today. she doesn't wear plugs and complained of wind noise today too.

+1 for the accoustic earplugs!!!! I bought these: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000VO8PR0/ref=oh_details_o00_s00_i00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 and used them yesterday and very impressed. the wind noise has been cut down/out yet i can hear my music, phone and have a conversation with someone through the helmet. In fact i was sitting on the bike when i heard a 'shhhhhh' and thought wtf is that when i realised it was the tree leaves blowing in the wind yet i couldn't hear the wind - freaked me out for a second thanks for the recommendation Galaxy-hopping garbage man

  14. Its not ok to park on public highway pavements but if on private land like Tesco, motorway services, hospital grounds etc I park wherever is convenient if that's right outside the font door, that's were i park. Most new car parks I've visited haven't even provided m/c bays so again I park where convenient and have never yet bought a ticket to park the bike nor been fined. There is a car park in Portsmouth I've seen on you-tube that is so pro bike it even has parking padlocks - you pay to actually lock your bike up with their locking mechanism. On campus you'll find either marked m/c bays or there will be a 'spot' where all the bike riders settle or as its on private land, somewhere discreet that suits. hth

Yeh it took me a little while to get used to it. My biggest factor for the change was the old tidy collected dirt every time it rained and was difficult to keep clean

well I popped across to his house yesterday as he was leaving. He paid a very similar amount t o the one linked and said its been really good. he opened it right up and also showed me how he anchored it to the floor and keeps it padlocked closed. I will definitely be buying one as soon as i get the cash together, after the ground anchor, after the Almax chain, after the Goretex jacket and trousers, after the over-suit, after the heated clothing, after the etc etc etc
