  5. Hello Guys and Girls It’s time for another forum giveaway! As spring is nearly upon us and more and more bikers are beginning to dust last summer’s dirt off their boots in anticipation, we began thinking about what gets bikers hot under the collar. We even spoke to some fellow biking enthusiasts about it. As it turns out, there are many pet hates associated with riding a motorbike. From impolite driving etiquette to bad weather the list went on and on! We’ve managed to narrow it down to Bikesure’s top 10 list of motorcyclists’ gripes: https://www.bikesure.co.uk/…/top-10-motorcyclist-pet-hates.… Now, we all like to have a little moan from time to time, we’re British, it’s what we do best so here’s your chance to let us know what your top biking pet hates are, and be in with a chance of winning a prize! Please remember, this competition is about pet hates when riding, not when talking to your insurance company (we’ll save that for another competition). Up for grabs is a pair of VIP tickets to the Prescott Bike Festival in April that Bikesure is very proud to be supporting. More info about the show can be found here; http://www.prescottbikefestival.co.uk/. The VIP tickets include: · Entry to the show · A meal and refreshments · Access to the VIP viewing area to watch the action on track All you need to do to enter is let us know your number 1 pet peeve about biking on Britain’s roads today. Please post your answers in the comments below for this thread. We will then pick 1 winner at random from all the participating forums. Good luck. Rules: 1 entry per person only The competition is open from 9am 1st March until 9am 31st March 1 winner will be selected at random from all entries from all participating forums and announced at the start of April 2016. The winner will be contacted via PM on the forum. Should there be no reply after 7 days; a different winner will be selected. UK residents only
  6. Hi everyone, I just wanted to let you all know about the latest edition of Influx Magazine, the motoring mag put together by us here at Bikesure. Last month we headed down to Pendine Sands to look at the UK vintage hot rod scene, whilst this month we jetted off to California to speak to our American cousins about alternative bike culture. Earlier this year we ran an edition about the bike scene here in England, including the alt. bike event Dirtquake. This month we attended the Californian equivalent, filming the dirt track in Perris, and chatting to bikers about what makes the event unique. We’ve also got articles on Bud Ekins, arguably the king of Cali bike culture, the evolution of the desert sled bike, a gallery of pics, and Sideburn’s Gary Inman on why California is such a big draw for bikers. You can check out the full edition here http://www.influx.co.uk/edition/california-the-la-triptych-california-moto-culture/ Let me know what you think, and share your own California and dirt track stories below! Thanks, Dan
  7. Hi guys and girls, Hope you don’t mind a new thread. Bikesure Insurance now offer a new extra benefit which is available to add to a policy called FlexRide. In short, if you have the ‘Riding other bikes’ extension on your policy, which will only give you cover against third party risks, this ‘top-up’ policy will increase the cover to a comprehensive level giving up to £5000 worth of cover for the motorcycle you are riding. I’m not trying to give it the hard sell here - I just thought with it being unique as far as I know in the market, it was worth talking about. It does have some restrictions; you must already have the riding other bikes third party only benefit on your policy (this doesn’t buy you the extension), the bike must be insured, not belong to you, or be registered at your address. It can only be added to a Bikesure insurance policy. The policy is perfect for someone who has friends or relatives who are ‘in to’ their bikes like you and I. Using someone else’s bike with just third party cover is always a bit awkward, especially if something happens! It won’t suit everyone I know, but for people like you and I who love their bikes, it could be very handy. At £24.99 a year it’s very reasonably priced. Cheers, Jordan.
  8. Hi guys, So the competition is now closed, thanks for all the entries – We've had a good laugh reading them! We've chosen a winner, 'red' from WelshBíkers has won themselves a new pressure washer! Thanks for taking part guys, apologies to anyone that entered and didn't win. Regards, Jordan.
  9. Hi, They certainly are. If you want to PM me your telephone number and email address we can get in touch! Regards Jordan
  10. Hi guys, I thought some of you may be interested in an event coming up, Dirt Quake IV. Take a look at the below for full details, it’s a really good couple of days and we’d love to see some of you there!
  11. So guys and girls, the start of the bike season is here, the weather is improving by the day (touch wood!) and it’s time to get the bike out and make it sparkle ready for the summer ride-outs. Here at Flux towers, we thought what better way to prepare you other than to give away a fantastic prize?! We’ve come up trumps on this one and have a Nilfisk C110 4.5 X-tra 110 Bar High Performance Pressure Washer to give away to one lucky winner! “How do I get my hands on that awesome piece of kit?” I hear you ask? Step 1: All you need to do is call in on the dedicated club line, 0800 089 0225, and receive a quotation during April. If it’s easier, you can PM us to arrange for us to call you (Just send us a few of your details, include your telephone number and email address so we can then contact you) “I’ve already got my insurance with you guys” – That’s fine! Just jump straight to Step 2. Step 2: Once you have received your quotation or if you are already a policy holder with us, you need to post on this thread and give us the most imaginative, funny, clever reason as to why you need this prize in your life. I want you to get really imaginative with this and make us laugh (if you can). You must complete step one to be in with a chance of winning, as we will validate the chosen winner by tracing their quote/policy. It’s as simple as that, so get your thinking caps on guys. I’m looking forward to giving this great prize away to the lucky winner! Terms Of Entry. 1 entry per person. Bikesure underwriting criteria applies. Quote must be obtained via the telephone number listed or as arranged via PM, in April 2015. Once quote received or if existing customer, a comment as mentioned in the competition terms must be left in the competition thread. The winner will be randomly selected from all entries on all participating forums and will need to supply details to locate quote/policy when requested. General terms can be found here: https://www.adrianflux.co.uk/corporate/competition/tac-standard.php

  13. Thanks Bippo, feedback is always appreciated! Regards Lee
  14. Hi James, If you PM a number, I can give you a call and I'll see what I can do. Thanks Lee
  15. That would be the case with the no claims I'm afraid. As was mentioned above, could you not tag it on to your blade policy? Lee
  16. Well I'm glad we got you sorted! I shall thank young Lenny for his assistance, he won't be getting a biscuit though, i let him eat yesterday. Thanks Lee
  17. This a tricky one to answer, reason being if you called us and said you were just having the engine replaced with the another same spec/model engine, then it would be fine, no charges incurred....... However I saw a case recently where one of our competitors had his policy cancelled when he rang to tell them that he'd added new indicators. I would inform the insurance company and get the engine number changed on the log book, just to be safe.
  18. I'm sorry, they don't let me out much, especially not if the Fluxbabes are there!
  19. Morning, It is possible to do it, it just limits the amount of schemes available. You may find that it makes financial sense to switch it to your Dads name until you are planning to ride it again. Cheers Lee
  20. Hi, Northern only I'm afraid. Carole Nash offer Southern Ireland policies if that helps? Lee
  21. Good good. Happy christmas everyone. Lee
