    Could it be due to using premix? Slightly to much oil possibly? Using a 40:1 ratio

    Well finally got everything back together and fitted standard main jet, went to test and there's absolutely no power when first startin to move, any body have a idea what could be the cause of this? Thanks in advance

    I gave it a try and can get my lid on no problem, would only use one so that I do have the ability to hear sirens and such if needed

    Alright, well blackhat mentioned a expansion tank for aerox on my intro thread which increased his mates top speed, question iss... What is a expansion tank? What does it do and where does it go?

    The tire that's fitted is totally bald so deffo a quick change, and got a motocross style helmet and didn't get much wind noise before and I have the earphones that go inside ya ear to reduce this noise aswell, just didn't want to do it if it turned out to be illegal, thanks guys

    Well am just a tyre away from been road legal and my question is would it be illegal or legal to listen to music via earphones while riding? Both by law and in the way of been distracted not been able to hear surroundings

  10. Hiya, been on the forum a couple of month, already posted a couple questions, thought I would stop been rude and say a nice hello, and say a bit about me, well here goes... My name is matthew (matty) 21 year old and live in the northeast of england (sunderland area) currently just riding/ fixing a aerox yq50, the reason for a 50 at my age was, I left the armed forces in january due to wantin a life style change when I left I didn't have much savings( vertually none) and wanted to keep myself mobile, and the aerox was all I cud find roughly road legal within the budget I had, I am a newbie to bikes/scooters so will probablys be a lot more questions coming for you guys, will apreciate any advice giving wether it helpss or not, still will be taking on board

    not sure wether this is the right section for my question but here it goes.. for a bike/scooter to pass a mot does it have to have mirrors fitted? as currently i dont have any but need to go for mot before i can afford to get hold of some? basicaly would my scooter pass mot without mirrors? thanks

    Cudnt find anyway of gettin hold of a ratchet strap and after seeing videos of the starter fluid trick, I don't fancy givin it a go, looks like its garage tomorrow thanks anyway lads

    How much easy start is recomended for a moped tyre? Health anf safety is for the workplace nothing in the back garden, iv seen this but wasn't sure hw much for a moped tyre

    That's were my problem lies mervin, I cnt blow it up at all, its not holding any air, I tried bouncin is gently with a lil bit of force to try seat it while I have petrol stations compressor attached and still nothing

    Tyre can only go on one way with it been a scooter, think I may just ring about on tuesday and pay to get it fitter, just tried again and I give up with it now

    Tried that with petrol station compressor mate :/ just pushed another part away, and iv gave it about 5 attempts takin it on and off, but with it not been seated its not keepin any pressure at all

    Well after removin the totally bald tyre from my aerox I managed to replace it, up until it came to popping the bead, could any of you kind people give any advice on how to seat the bead? Iv tried using air pressure both at home and at local petrol station with no success, the airs just leakin out were the bead isn't seated, is there any alternative ways of doing this other than payin a garage to fit it? Any ideas much appreciated
