  1. Ok. Cleaned it up a bit - at the point where the wire meets the stand. I can't see what colour the wire is inside the black outer wire though.
  2. Mine are black and oily!! I have tried to have a proper look but it's too dark and peeing down! The only decent light I have at the moment is on my phone and that's not waterproof. My led torch is on charge and I'll try again in a bit
  3. Hi and welcome. Congrats on your impending life changing event!
  4. I think the switch is to the front of the stand, but could be earthing anywhere. If you try and push the bike in gear, does it try and turn the engine? Does the rear wheel turn when not in gear? Just wondering if there may be something mechanical causing a stall.
  5. My guess would be the carb needs cleaning or fuel is not getting to the carb properly. Or something is in the wrong way inside the carb.
  6. Somewhere on this forum someone has written about using led spots. Try using the search on here. Keep thinking about them for my SR
  7. Possibly earthing issue - is your bike covered from the wet weather?
  8. Welcome aboard! Not the greatest of intros ever but welcome anyway! There is a workshop section on here - you will probably get more answers if you post there. Back to your issue, sounds like a faulty side stand switch to me.
  9. Most led lights work straight from 12v. I have seen some on eBay but tbh most are Chinese and quality may not be great. I use an Angel eye type as a daylight running and works fine
  10. Just googled this - idle curiosity - can you believe it's for real???
  11. Had the same issue with my SR - standard filament bulb. I put a 35/45w bulb in and it has improved slightly with no negative problems
  12. Hi and welcome! Look forward to seeing pics
  13. http://pages.ebay.com/link/?nav=item.view&alt=web&id=141178435837 Like this? It's usual to say hi first in the new members section - you're more likely to get help if you introduce yourself properly.
  14. Not coming round yours for rice pudding then!!
  15. Only other thing I'd recommend you do, as you don't have a manual, is take pics of everything before you remove so you know which order spacers, washers etc go!

  17. Hi and welcome! I've not found anywhere doing anything other than the intensive type. They can't make it too easy now!
  18. Working now! Might be in with a chance if Tommy doesn't enter!
  19. Just bought myself a thermal vest [emoji153]
