  1. Yeah there must be some calcs that I could use to work it out. I'm gonna take the shock off at the weekend and have a measure up, and check that it's definitely that that's leaking. Then see where I can go from there!
  2. Didn't think it would be, already checked the part numbers they are different, so I'm stuck I think! Might have to go down the performance route, as I intend on keeping the bike for a long time anyway. Worth an ask! lol
  3. So after noticing some dark patches underneath my bike, it appears that my rear shock is leaking oil. Consulted my manual and guess what, its a non-serviceable part due to the gasses inside. Any leaks and you have to replace the unit. Checked the price for a new one, its an eye watering £285 from ajsutton. Had a browse on ebay for some, and can only find ones for the RE or R models, problem being they have, according to google, 30mm higher set height, and a lot more suspension travel So the question is could I fit one of these to my bike? i'm guessing its a no, but asking anyway in case someone on here has had similar issues? thanks in advance, Paul
  4. Definitely need some sumo wheels, I quite like the new sm 610. Tuned BMW engine, front end up every gear haha.
  5. That looks sweet! I like the huskies, look like absolute monsters!
  6. My local Yammie dealer sells Putoline, I always get the sport/race spec ones. So I usually run that or Silkolene.
  7. I quite fancy a xj6 when I get around to doing my direct access, definitely the naked version too. The MT-09 looks awesome!
  8. Tried a few clutchless up shifts earlier on way home from work, found them quite easy! Not tried going down yet though, maybe tomorrow
  9. Yeah you'll need at least 10k
  10. You'll pay a lot more than 90, a new sticker from ajsutton for the radiator scoop is 17.50 the last I checked
  11. +1 for hose tail. That's what we call them at work
  12. As everyone else said, paddle along in neutral and knock it into first! My dad rode his rd350 for 2 weeks without a clutch lol
  13. I had that a few weeks back, only doing 50 but felt like I'd been shot! Made me cough and splutter a bit
  14. Seen something very similar myself, someone I work with with his Mrs on the back in vest top and shorts. He was wearing full leathers. If you choose to not wear the right gear and get injured you've only got yourself to blame. But if you have an accident and your pillion gets injured, how bad would you feel?
  15. Yeah order a couple of plugs and do a 'plug chop' as it's called. I'm not a expert in this so can't tell you in full. But you do something along the lines of install fresh plug, find a quiet road, run up to maximum rpm in 2nd or 3rd gear, clutch in, allow engine to stop on its own. Check colour of plug. There's a plug colour chart on Google that'll give you an indication of too lean /rich etc That's about all I know lol
  16. I actually fitted a big one system, mine was ok, but you should definitely check it once fitted. If you're running lean you don't want to hole a piston
  17. I removed the chrome pipe all together, the rubber hose that connects to it I folded back on itself and cable tied it up. Then cable tied it up to the frame to hide it.

  19. Haha not the best video of them, I've seen them live. As long as you don't take it too seriously it's a cracking show.
  20. just to break up all the metal loving.....
  21. I seem to have a while colony (if that's the correct term) of spiders living on my bike, mainly behind the mirrors haha
  22. Haha some of my friends have a very questionable taste in music!
  23. I'm 24, and don't listen to anything like people my age do. Bit of a weirdo like that lol
