Top end is 145, it's the 675 engine, same as the Daytona, different mapping and 1st gear though. Off the line it shifts very well though, and it's really easy to ride, dead smooth in all gears even at low speed. I found the xj6 I did my test on a bit snatchy at low speed, something to do with the fueling apparently.

Yeah I considered another moto for a long time, huskies , ccm's stuff like that, but decided to get something a bit more long distance friendly. I want to get a green laning bike, maybe a gas gas ec 300
-
Yeah they look nice, and they're really good at night! Nice to have a bike with a good full beam on lol. 107Bhp apparently
-
Did my test on an xj6 so considered that too, just chose the triumph overall. Have to say the trumpet sounds nicer lol. I've got the black with gold wheels

Happy to hear you're ok mate, and the bike. Had a similar spill on Christmas day last year, except it was a patch of diesel. Twisted the forks in my yokes so I had to steer at half lock to go in a straight line haha. Made for an interesting 12 miles home!
-
That would be me, you and bippo, who else has defected?
-
Haha I was worried I'd get chased by a mob with pitchforks and the like! Got me a triumph street triple r, keeping my dt though, so can still hang around here lol
-
So had my new bike delivered yesterday, unfortunately not a yam, am I still allowed to talk about it?
-
+1 for that, mine twisted in the yokes when I had a spill, luckily both went an even amount so I managed to ride it home.
-
Well done mate, and I'm jealous, don't get my new bike until next Thursday!
-
Draggin' jeans are good too, supposedly the only kevlar jean to achieve the same CE rating as leather.
-
RST aren't too bad price wise, I've got a pair and they're pretty good, removable liners for when it's a bit warmer. Just make sure the legs are long enough, nothing worse than drafty ankles haha
-
Nice bike the xj6, it's what I did my test on
-
My first one got cancelled due to wet weather, even though we'd been out riding all day!
-
What bike have you got? Sounds like it could be a reed block
-
Haha one of my cats sits on my amp, must like it when the tubes get warm!
-
Street triple r I think, already spoke to someone selling one haha. Just need to hear back from the bank on a loan! I'm hoping to have some weekends away next year!
-
I'm copying you bippo and getting a triumph! Keeping the 125 for a winter bike though/summer project. Yeah I did DAS so I can ride/fall off whatever I like haha
-
Woooooooooooo passed my mod 2 today! Eagerly awaiting the arrival of my new license. So glad it's finally out the way too
-
Haha ooops! I'm on mobile so don't get to see that bit!
-
Haha some kind of witchcraft! Any news on the XJ yet?
-
How does that work then? Temp sensor and a servo or something?
-
No ice on my bike, but it gets a bit of protection in the bike 'shed'. Took a few attempts to start though, warmed up before all the cars had scraped the ice off though!
