  2. So panic over, basically I buy a blank replacement plate, get it engraved or stamped, fix it to the bike somewhere and jobs a gud 'un! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  3. Might be the route I go down.... Lol Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  4. Cheers mate, was planning on giving them a bell! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  5. Yeah I've looked around, one option is to carefully sand back the powder to hopefully reveal the stamped no, then clearcoat over it to protect it. There's also a couple of companies who sell replacement stickers so like you say it can't be a rare occurrence! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  6. Thought that might be the case! Sh!t. It was just a sticker, tried warming it up and peeling it off but it wrecked it. Will have a word with local MOT station and see what they say Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  7. I no longer have a VIN number on my frame due to powder coat etc, but understand its checked on the MOT? Anyone out there bought an official looking blank replacement or can you just make one up? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  8. Yeah I know mate, just you that was confused! [emoji13] Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  9. Might just be a sticky throttle cable, or carbs. Try some redex in it Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk

  11. Plastic tank is better in a lot of ways mate so I wouldn't worry about it! You could have a look at kriega, it's pricey but you really can't fault it Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  12. I'm taking off the rev limiter, sporty pipe but nothing silly. But yeah I was tempted by big bore kits etc Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  13. Got my side cases back this morning! They look gurdddd! Also new chain/sprox have arrived so should be able to fit the rear wheel, once I've finished spraying up the adjusters and spacers Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  14. The motors all gravy, but I'm having both side covers powdercoated so just waiting for those back. Then it'll need a good scrub and should be ready to go! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  15. Stop reminding me! Lol Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  16. So today wasn't massively successful, held up by the fact i haven't got the right spanners for the headstock bearings! They're arriving tomorrow though so I'll hopefully get the forks, bars, front wheel and then clocks/headlight fitted. I have managed to fit the airbox and battery tray, then some of the electronics. As well as the radiator. Should hopefully start cleaning the loom up tomorrow as well Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  17. So, most of the holes retapped (I'm sure I've missed a few) and subframes fitted. Now for my least favourite activity - cleaning things lol Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  18. I hope so mate, as long as I get all the bits I need! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  19. So, made some progress today, new bearings, bushes and seals in the swingarm and rear shock linkage. Also cleaned the powdercoat off some of the pivot points. Tomorrow will be retapping holes and servicing the brake calipers Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  20. As for feet positions, I asked about the engine bars because you could mount some pegs on those. Been thinking about it myself Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  21. Some people swear by sheepskins on the seat, never tried it myself. Like drew said, move around every so often. Have you got engine bars on your FJ? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  22. I doubt it's been restricted, wouldn't want to try and reign all those horses in! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  23. A2a4 is the one, reckon I've got shares in them by now Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  24. You tried eBay? A lot of sellers doing kits now Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  25. Get yourself a Haynes manual, nice easy bikes to work on. Yours looks great! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
