You say you had a new ignition barrel fitted, could be that the clutch cable has been rerouted during this hence it acting like it's out of adjustment Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk

Tasky is right, best part of 13v without engine running. If you turn the ignition on then that might drop if your headlights are always on. With the Engine running anything near 15V will cook the battery. 14.2V at 4krpm would be considered ideal. (I think) Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk

Just sounded similar to mine when it had the rev limiter on. Where did you earth the cable behind the clocks? I'd double check it's all good. I'm also assuming you have an aftermarket rev counter then? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
