  1. Sounds like a blocked pilot jet Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  2. I couldn't be certain mate, but judging from how hard the gasket had gone it had been on there a good while. Have you tried bleeding the clutch fluid and/or checking for leaks at the slave cylinder? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  3. I changed the spring on mine, and one of the plates. I think there's 8 or 9 in total, with 2 that have slightly less surface area. I fitted a FJR1300 spring and a full size plate to replace one of the smaller ones. Measured the old plates (45k miles) and they were no different to the new one Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  4. Have you checked your tyre pressures? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  5. You really need a manual - Haynes or similar that will identify all the parts for you and give you the factory settings. Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  6. Get some pics up! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  7. Had on a go on a Duke Scrambler last week, they're very nice! Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  8. I took a pheasant to the face once, killed my lid and the bird. That hurt. Last time I had some tyres on the triumph I had new chain and sprockets at the same time, think he charged me £10 more Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  9. Yeah in the dry that one I had was fine. 4k miles later and it looked brand new. Tiny bit of moisture in the air and it would spin on acceleration [emoji29] Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  10. The rear tyre I had on my FJ when I got it was awful. Manufacturer was CST (Cheap, shit tyre?) I had many a drifting session on that. Mostly the reason why I never got on with the bike, even with decent rubber I never had any confidence Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  11. Both good bikes, maybe not the best for 2 up riding - I'd maybe consider the MT09 Tracer? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  12. You need to test the output from the stator though, if that's good then it will be the reg/rec or possibly the cabling in between the two Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  13. I wouldn't cut the pipe. It's fulfilling its purpose. If you cut them off level you'll never know when you need fuel until it conks out, except you won't have a reserve to fall back on. It's all in the name really..... Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  14. You need to clean the jets out mate, they have tiny holes drilled in them. My money is on blocked pilot jet. You need some carb cleaner and compressed air Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  15. Yeah that does seem low. What are the resistances like between the windings and the frame or engine casing? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  16. Measure resistance between them all, you should get 3 identical readings. Also check each one for continuity down to earth (frame). Alternatively with the bike running you should get an AC voltage on each. Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  17. Manual choke. You are using it aren't you? Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  18. For me a trailtech vapour would be the way to go. Not cheap though. You can programme them to start from your current mileage Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  19. Fowlers parts. Or eBay/gumtree depending on your budget Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  20. A member on here fitted one to his TDR125. He did 33k miles on it before the gearbox gave up so I'd say the crank will be fine. I think a better route to do down would be fit a DT200 or WR200 engine. They bolt straight into a DT frame Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  21. Are you sure you've checked all fuses? Looking at your original post you might've fried something in the dash when that wire shorted out. Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  22. I love how on the listing they say that they'll make sure everything is working before shipping [emoji23][emoji23][emoji23] Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  23. I know the feeling mate - so many connections on my Aprilia had been bodged. Slowly but surely going around and remaking them properly. Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  24. Looks good that mate. Plenty of room for beers Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
  25. Very nice mate [emoji106] I'd love one at some point Sent from my E6553 using Tapatalk
