  1. will i have to give the wheel size to the company to see if it fits or will it fit anyway. its a 130/70/18
  2. Im thinking about putting the recommended tyre on the bike as i have found some quite cheap.
  3. I'm hoping it will be pretty straight forward. There are custom lights on the bike so do I cut the loom or buy brackets and put original on. Dissions dissions. I don't intend to keep the bike as my wife wants to be able to come out with me and she can't on this unless I buy a new frame .
  4. I have ordered another loom which comes with fuses and other bits attached. Once it arrives I will re wire the bike and see how things go from there
  5. Thanks dude. I'm watching a few looms on ebay at the moment. Once the bike manages to fire up then I will start doing other bits.
  6. If not change the wheel can I just put any 18 inch tyre on. At the moment it has 150/60/18 on back. Can I put with a 150/70/18, 140/70/18, 140/60/18 , 130/50/18, 130/60/18, 130/70/18
  7. some things work and some dont. doesnt look like loom has been cut. as for the frame the person i got the bike from said that the guy he got it from cut it. cvant see where its been cut too. I will post pics tomorrow when better lighting
  8. Cud do with someone who is good with bike electrics as I don't have a clue. Also I'm trying to figure a way of putting a double seat back on.

Hi is it possible I can advertise my new bikers forum on here please.
  10. The bike has been jacked up at the moment. I'm not worried about the de valuation. I have seen a few rear wheels that are ready to go straight onto the bike. Just wondering if it would fit or if I need to get a swinging arm to fit the wheel and frame
  11. Main reason are the tyres are cheaper lol. If the front will fit as well then yes I will change both
  12. Well I managed to get a fzr600 89 model. Electrics need looking at. And I want to try and get it back to a double seat. There are a few other little things that need doing as well
  13. I currently have a fzr600 with a 18inch rear wheel with 150/60/18 tyre. Probably a stupid question but would a thundercat wheel fit the fzr??
  14. no way of trying it on another battery until next week. i will carry on doing other bits on it.
  15. Is there anyone on here that is in the bournemouth area that would like to come and give me a hand with my project . Food and drink will be supplied
  16. The bike doesnt turn over. i have checked all fuel and plugs they seem fine. engine not seized. The starter solenoid makes a noice and so does the relay. thats about it .

I have just bought an fzr 600 project. How u getting on.
  18. Ok I just bought a project bike. It's an fzr600 f reg. It has had loads if mods done to the bike but I want to put it back to original. Well at least try anyway. I'm finding it hard to get hold of a sub frame as the one on the bike has been chopped for a single seat conversation. Also when I go to start the bike its like it's not getting any power. The lights work but when the start button is pressed they do very dim. I have charged the battery but still no different. Please help
  19. Hi I have just bought a fzr600 1989 model. It has been modified a bit. I have had a few Yamaha bikes in the past. Absolutely loved the thundercat. Anyway just thought I would say hi
