Ha ha yes, the guy who can’t even to be arsed with a screen name
-
Hi Dan welcome to YOC
-
Sure I read somewhere that Kev & Slice were getting a room, that'll be a real eye opener Slicey
-
Nice find Finn, get some Pricer's up and what you need for deposit and those interested can ping it over on paypal That should give you a good idea of numbers
-
Yep Finn works fine on my phone just my tablet struggling under the weight of all that porn I meant bike porn obviously
-
I'll give it another go later on my phone thanks finn
-
Finners that links no working for me, anyone else not getting it ?
-
All good advice above, I find the easiest way to check wiring is with a test light if you don't own a multimeter. I'd also give all your multi wire connections a check and your main ground from battery to frame. As Drewp said check the fuse but also clean the connections as that's very common problem.
-
Looks great Drew I’d be concerned about curing in an oven though, although I suppose you do have access to larg ovens so is just warm oven for how long?
-
Hi Mors welcome to YOC the best place to start is new members sec, just a quick hi where you’re from in the world, bike experience etc. You’ll get a much better response as it helps other members help you. It is a tricky one as the frame is unusual on your bike but I have seen them with the pre division xj600 tank on. it’s not a straight swop though and obviously you’re gonna loose your side panels. Have a look on xs400.com, plenty on there with mods.
-
I'm the only one who'll recognize you though Jimmy. I'll call in for my annual cuppa again this summer on our NC500 trip, I'm splitting off from Drew and the others to visit family in Oban so will pop in and see you on the way home
-
Is he the French bloke you were chatting up on the ferry last year
-
Tent for for me, this time I’ll remember the plug for my air bed, lol was a hard nights kip last year at squires
-
Well I certainly managed to kill this thread didn't I
-
Think you'll be OK I connected an led to my indicators just to test the theory and worked fine although I did only try one side If you do get problems change indicator bulbs to led and get led flasher unit, all on eBay
-
Hi & welcome to YOC Clivette. Yep would have been a lot cheaper too. In 1970s you could buy a new bike for less than you pay the test process now.
-
Just like to add, any newbies reading this you're more than welcome, its a great way to put faces to names, new members always encouraged to attend just join in the conversation on here
-
5 bedrooms for you, yer missus & 3 cats is that a room each
-
I can’t fecken believe this it almost looks like we’re going to make an actual decision here that camp looks good, we’ll have to check if they’re biker friendly and if pubs in walking distance Shit I just remembered I still haven’t told mrs XS I’m off to classic TT yet and now I’ve got this as well, I think l may get a visit from mr rolling pin when she finds out
-
Ok so if we have a date can we make a short list of venue’s then we can vote on it. First on my list is Matlock
-
Sounds good to me, just need a venue now Yes mate I was really impressed deffo going back there sometime this year
-
I think of all the ride outs I done last year the one place that stood out from the rest was Matlock. That would make a brilliant meet place bikes from one end of town to the other plenty of places to eat and Drink really great roads, their must be camping there somewhere
