Just had a look on the steam packet website if anyone's interested you can still book to sail from Liverpool on the 25th and return the same day as us on the 3rd sept. A lot cheaper if you sail from Heysham though!

Yes think that's were your problem lies, the pickup coils I had the same on my twin and was only firing on one cylinder luckerly I had a spare motor and swapped them over.

Sounds like it holds the cover on try using sticky tape to keep it in place till you get home

grouch you can pick up a proper bike alarm for £20 on ebay only 3 wires to connect and remote control if you can't manage that you can get a disk lock with alarm built in, keep the rape alarm in your pocket with your luck you might just need it

Not long now it'll be August soon, starting to get excited about this now I haven't worked out how many sleeps it is but it does feel a bit like when I was a kid counting down to Christmas.

yeh Drew make sure you put the side stand down properly, imagine how bad you would have felt if you'd had that paint done last year

Hey Drew I was thinking maybe we could arrange a meet at the Oilcan with the other guys from Squires then head back down to Stalybridge that is I meet you at the usual Mcd's first whats your thoughts ? Could be a good ride and Stalybridge doesn't start till 12

Had a great day, l was working in Shrewsbury for past 2 days so decided to take the bike, l managed to finish by 2:30 so took a long way home via welshpool, Oswestry Llangollen then on to Chester weather was hot but as your moving it wasfine, only downer was my hayfever playing up again mask didn't help ended up taking it off
