    As Bippo said Glad you're doing well again. Been there with the job thing, lost my job of 20 years, 6 years ago, I went self employed after that and have never looked back, best thing to happen to me as it turned out but was very down about it at the time.

  7. yes John its only now you've grown up that you realize how much better they are
  8. you see that's were you & Jimmy differ, cos one of jimmy's first bikes was an xs250 and his was a bag of shite, my first bike was an xs250 & I loved it I agree with jimmy though you could pick one up in a lot better nick for a fraction of the money you'll need to get that roadworthy, let alone restored.

  16. lots of bikes in my family growing up, now I'm the only one who still has one. My Dad was my biggest influence although he did try to put me off buying my first bike but that just made me want one more. there's nothing like the freedom of owning your own bike & getting away from it all & that still applies today as long as mrs xs doesn't mind
