  1. No sign of any leaks and lever feels fine but it might be worth a try bleeding them.
  2. Cheers Finn, are you shaw they where original though?
  3. Would have been tempted to run over his bike if I'd been driving the black car behind.
  4. The first couple of times this happened I thought it was just me pulling the lever slightly as I accelerated, l mean it does nearly pull yer arms out of their sockets when she goes. But seems to be happening more often now even when I know my hand is off the lever so looking round on the web thing some advise is to change the clutch spring, but I'm thinking might be better to do plates as well while I'm in there as I'll need a new gasket anyway might as well just buy a clutch kit and know its done, any advise on brand ect and any tips from the FJ boys as its almost the same motor.
  5. When I saw the title to this thread I clicked hoping to see a punch line never mind welcome to YOC.

Hi Paul nice Tidy example you have their, main problem I had with mine was points needed lot of adjustments oh and I suspect you already know brakes are poo,but I know what you mean about prices these are well worth the money, not so many left in original form anymore most have been cafe'd, can only go up in value and still loads of fun.

Hi James welcome to YOC. my first bike was a xs250 and loved it but you would probably find there are still some 125s out there that are quicker, not that is what you want, I can see that by your choice, bet its a great feeling to be back on two wheels again after so long but you never forget its just like riding a bike!
