Hello My name is Stuart , I have lived in Manchester for most of my life , I have been interested in bikes since teenager with my first bike being a honda cub 50 ohv , wish I still had that one I am currently passing the wee hours with a 1991 Yamaha DT50MX that I bought as a basket case , Enjoying every minute of it though as I never owned one as a younger man . Hi thanks for the help mate , I am quite new to this computer stuff and that , Yes I have measured the resistance , The actual internal pin that screws into the ht lead as just corroded away , I can not seem a way to open it as it is sealed as you probably no , I will try Yambits again as I have had a few things off them Does it have to be a specific type or any type ? Hi everyone I have just recently bought this bike with an intention to get it back up and running It was a complete basket case when I bought it and some of the parts are still missing , However I know for sure the ht coil is completely shot , As my bike is of the cdi type can I use any 6 VOLT Ac coil or must it be the specific type ???? If so any ideas where I could source one ? Thanks for reading Stu
