  1. Welcome matey, same age as me and i had one of those fucking bikes too. Long gone now though!
  2. post an intro and you might get a response.
  3. Welcome! Bit too far for me too meet up for a ride, but there are members all over the uk. I knew just by looking at the amount of replies that you're female lol. Like everyone says watch out for foamy and his soggy sock.
  4. Another faux (fox) news lacky. To contrast her far right nonsense, here's a look at it from the far left: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MrtjdEyNtc
  5. What year is the bike? Do you like the 660X?
  6. PHeewww, that thing was a piece of shit.
  7. Does it by any chance have a black bash plate (sump guard) and exhaust? Just asking, as i sold a 55 plate XT125X at the end of last year. That went for just under £500 i THINK- with the enduro wheels too. That was listed as a project though.

YES! Hopefully by the end of next week she'll be back on the road *touch wood*
  9. pretty sure the UK law regarding mirrors is all or nothin'. You can have two or none, but not just the one. That's what i was lead to believe anyways....

So after dragging my heals for god knows how long, i've finally sealed the tank (well i hope so anyways!). have to leave it to dry now until Sunday, then i can chuck some petrol in there to make sure all the leaks are sorted- fingers crossed, if it is sealed i will be repainting it next week, then hopefully get back out on the big old girl.
  11. Don't bother with the indicators or mirrors matey! Me and my uncle both have full MOT without them (as they are not a legal requirement) There's a few quid already saved! And if you lay it down you will surely snap an indicator anyways.
  12. maybe if they cut down on war (overseas and against its own people) they'd be a damn site closer to it. Wonder how much it'd cost to do the UK.
  13. Glad to hear you and your bikes are doing good, and that you've not turned to the dark side (caged side). Looking forward to some videos and pictures of you adventures. There's a bloke on here currently doing up a wr400. I really like the look of these bikes, i'll ask my uncle for a crack on his next time we go out on the bikes....which might be a fair way away (husky has stated smoking from the exhaust- just in time for a summer rebuild lol)
  14. If you are doing your 125 test, and assuming you've already done your theory you can just book the test and turn up on your 125. There is no obligation to have lessons before hand, but they are highly recommended, the instructors will point out what you are doing wrong and how you should be doing it and what the tester will be looking for.
  15. FUCK YEAH! My enduro just failed its MOT last week headlight bracket was snapped on one side, horn is fucked and rear brake sticking. Make sure you check everything over before the MOT, i thought the only thing the bike would fail on was noisy exhaust....and he never even mentioned it lol. Good progress sir. You'll be digging trenches with that thing soon enough. Using the weight as a sliding hammer is a damn good idea, nice and even.
  16. Welcome! Every time i think of Milwaukie, i think of this scene https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8EAk5CA53Bc
  17. welcome Jim! I'm only about an hour from Wrexham and did my CBT and lessons with the instructors on the big industrial estate.
  18. another thing is that bikes here usually (other then the weekend warriors) get used through the winter when the roads are gritted and it rains like 3/4 of the year lol. Yeah garages are a bit of a luxury here. i'm one of the lucky ones in that respect.
  19. i think he is recommending that you change the drilled airbox lid for an unmodified one.
  20. Haven't seen you online in ages. How's the WR treating you? or has your dads car replaced the bikes now?
