  1. 10. I went with a few locals for a short ride and yes it is slow on a 125 we got about 6 miles and then the sill buggers were out of sight so I tured around and went home I got a phone call asking where I was I said in the house as if I cant see you I cant follow you you plonkers lol. when he asked where they lost me I said when you lot took off doing some break neck speed it was then it was only when they pulled over and they waited 10 min for me they thaught they would call me to see if I was ok but I was fine with a cuppa in hand and told them next time I'll start neerer the frount so they can see when they are leaving me behind and slow down to normal speeds lol
  11. I'm just going to give my 10p worth on the High visibility clothing debate you are having . With myself being new to bike riding I wear alot of high visability clothing for a couple of reasons firstly at 5:00 am when I set off for work and its dark and my way of thinking with being new on the road is I want to be seen by the other road users and have a high vis lid, jacket and pants ( and yes it has been said I look like the yellow power ranger lol ) even tho I wear these high visability clothing there are still silly barstewards who pull out on me ! on one occasion it was daylight dry also had lights on and still the silly buger nearly had me off my bike ! so no matter how hard we try by wearing high vis clothing , having lights on etc, there are some bad drivers who just do not look proply. In my honest opinion that lad who was doing over a tone past a horse needs his head read.
  12. My commute to work is not as far as you only 16 miles round trip and I put in £10 every two week to top up which is a bonus as it would cost me £4.50 a day on the bus so it a big saving as £15 of petrol will get me 255 miles so I'm not complaning I just wish I did my cbt years ago
  13. why didn't I think of that what a plonker I am lol
  14. I'm still having my first bike adventure I have a 2007 ybr and I must say its it works out cheeper for me than running a car or getting the bus so its a big bonus I only passed my cbt a month or so ago and all is well so far my only problem with being a noob to motorbikes is riding in the harsh weather it was all fine in the dry then all of a sudden I'm driving in gail force winds and freezing conditions but my only problem is with not being a car driver is I get lost alot lol
  15. I'm sure its a 12v battery but I'' have a look tommorow also I have had a jiggle with the wires but still nothing
  16. hello all I have a problem with the lights on my clocks on my 2007 ybr 125 the thing is the speedo and rev counter lights do not work but the fuel light still works fine I have looked at the bulbs and they look fine to me but they just don't work there are no loose wire that I can see. I would chane the bulbs just to see if its that but cant find them any where or even what kind of bulb they are ( as I'm a noob with bikes lol) can any one point me in the right direction plz any ideas would be great as it has me stumped !
