  1. Hi guys, I have a 1991 Yamaha Virago XV535 and was looking at getting a secondhand XV750 exhaust that I have seen advertised....question is would it fit straight onto my 535 or would it need to be modified? Cheers
  2. Sorry, posted in wrong section.
  3. Cheers guys! Just tried the bike again today....didn't start..ran fine over the weekend in dry weather....today rainy and overcast, bike has been covered all day and decided not to start....I wil get a new battery for it ASAP but also is there anything that moisture could be affecting? wether air moisture or rain...
  4. Cheers bud ! I will try the basic service this weekend.....battery might be an issue as the previous owner mentioned it but said it should be fine.....might replace just in case!
  5. Hey guys, Just treated myself to my first cruiser....a 1991 Yamaha XV535 Virago.....matte black in colour and in need of TLC but I wanted a project that I could put my own stamp on while also commuting to work each day...and with this beauty, job done! Previously I'd been a sports bike man (Ducati's etc) but have fell in love with Harley's recently..due to family committments I could afford the £4k for a Harley so decided to try a cheaper cruizer and shelled out £775 for my Virago. I'm having a few issue with it starting in the morning.....the first two days I had it it was open to the elements and chose not to start after getting wet.....after getting home from work later that day, the sun had been out so the bike dried out and started first go!!! It is now under a cover but if it continues not to start after getting wet has anyone got any ideas but fixing the problem??? I can't carry a bike cover everywhere....we are in the UK after all !! Cheers in advance!!
