ballbearing pushrod clutch! XT125 X 07
after many ball bearings later i have got the right one. Cant find out which size because theres no indication between the multitude of ball bearings i got. If anyone needs one i have em all lol. So i install my new clutch plates well oiled up and the mighty ball bearing and still theres no resistance in my clutch lever. Is it necessary to refill the oil to have resistance? I would rather not do this in the case that i have to empty it all out again.

Headlight bulb make and model! XT125 X 07
I now have about 6 H4 bulbs lol. The previous owner of this bike must have changed the compartment as it doesn't fit H4 bulbs.

Headlight/sidelight not working xt 125 x 07
Ohh aye its mad trying to get into the headlight i must had the fairing off about five times now i could easily do it blind folded. Just checked with the multimeter on all connections looks like a wiring fault will probably just take it down to garage tomorrow.

Headlight/sidelight not working xt 125 x 07
I took all my electrics off the bike to do maintenance and cleaning and now everything is back together. The headlight and sidelight is not working. Everything else works fine. The battery for the bike doesn't charge but it will charge enough to run full power for 20 mins or so could this be the reason the head light/side light aren't powering up. I don't think it is wiring problem. More than likely the bulbs are gone could i test by using rear bulb for headlight i'm guessing its a bad idea but let me know. Cheers for help

Cleaned brakes + dot 4 fluid change = Brakes not working xt125x 07
Happy days shes back online! after much back pain and patience Used most methods posted but in the end it was sucking the pipe that scored the goal. Atleast now i'm well educated for bleeding the rear brakes lol MOT will be soon coming Thanks for all the advice

Cleaned brakes + dot 4 fluid change = Brakes not working xt125x 07
Have just bleed it fully good 10 times. No bubbles what so ever. Still no pressure in the brake lever. I don't think the drums are pushing against the disc at all as there is good bit of play in the brakes. I have just taken brakes off and the disc and pads out and there is no movement in the drums at all. I did take the drums out is there something i could have done wrong?

Cleaned brakes + dot 4 fluid change = Brakes not working xt125x 07
cheers for tips airhead will give that a shot in the morning. i tried doing exactly what you said even watched a couple videos on youtube on it but didn't feel any pressure from beginning to end. I think my problem is that i dont have a hose pipe big enough for fitting to the nipple. I take it trying this is pointless without a hose pipe. Will be down town tomorrow looking for a hose pipe.

Cleaned brakes + dot 4 fluid change = Brakes not working xt125x 07
Ok so i will try leave the brakes pulled in to flood the brakes overnight. I drained all the dot 4 fluid. It probably will take that to refill the brakes with dot 4 fluid. I would love to use your method of filling from the nipple to the reservoir but i do not have a syringe tool for the job.

Cleaned brakes + dot 4 fluid change = Brakes not working xt125x 07
Hi I just removed my brake and cleaned it up took pads out etc and drained the old dot 4. Now i have pumped new dot 4 and there is no brake action just a limp brake lever with no resistance and brakes which don't work This is the front brakes i have not got to the back brake.

Problem with clutch lever resistance xt125 x 07
@wild foamy and @shambles1980 Cheers for the info guys really helps. Ball bearing has done a runner and i doubt i will be able to find it. Would any ball bearing do (that fits) or does it have to be a specific ball bearing?

Problem with clutch lever resistance xt125 x 07
I can't see any obvious way of putting the plain plates on in a right method. Haynes just states to put the friction then normal then friction etc. I have the clutch plates out and am not sure where i went wrong Could it be that i have lost the ball bearing that goes in front of the pushrod which is connected to the pressure plate?
-
Problem with clutch lever resistance xt125 x 07
well i can remember the friction plates being correctly aligned the normal plate i can remember seeing a small bump on each of them but the haynes manual said nothing about the right way to put the plain plates in. I did also have the alternator cover off but didn't touch anything

Problem with clutch lever resistance xt125 x 07
Hi I recently emptied my engine oil for a refill and also put in a new set of clutch plates. Now i have everything back together. No engine oil is in it. would this be the reason for my clutch lever to have no force/resistance in it? If i refill the oil would the clutch lever comes back to life? Cheers in advance for the help!

XT125X supermoto upgrade engine to 250cc
Was considering upgrading my 125cc engine to a 250cc any advice on this? Would it fit into the 125cc engine frame? Would it need bigger carbs?

Newbie with supermoto
Just bought myself a Yamaha XT125X Supermoto '07 for £220 needs few bits and bobs but overall drives well and looks the job sincei have cleaned/polished her. Also needs taxed and mot'd shouldn't be a problem, once i have completed my CBT and have the bike fully cleaned and serviced myself (including have the whole bike taken apart and put back together). The bike itself needs new: Chain and sprockets speedo cable (as expected with this bike) Preferably new clutch plates new battery 10w 40 oil oil filter Maybe put a new exhaust on just for looks as it is only rusty looking part on the bike. Previous bike was a 125cc loncin pitbike.

Yamaha xt125 x 07 (11 and 17 tooth front sprocket?)
Which would be better for increased acceleration 11 or 17 tooth front sprocket, Or would the standard 14 tooth front sprocket be just near the same? Rear sprocket is 48 tooth.
