Thats good to hear, dont know nothing about bikes, hope to get it mot in the nxt month, then its just passing the bike test bit it looks such a great bike, had to buy it, just a forkseal change n bit of corrosion to sort then hopefully that will be it Ian

Hi, i recently bought a Yamaha XJ550 SECA 82/83 not sure of exact age because its a North American import, was registered in this country about 95, does any body know if it should have a front fairing and does any body know wer can get a front fairing, mant thanks Ian

Hi everyone, im a new member 40yrs old and have occasionaly mucked about wit bikes over the past 20yrs or so, living in exeter devon, having recently bought a 1982/83 XJ550 american import and was wondering if anybody knows a good place in south west even devon area to get spare parts, I havent passed my test yet but my mate was selling it and always thought it looked great, and when he offered it to me, how could I say no and its the push I need to pass my test many thanx Ian
