Ahh cool that's good to know. Well my bike seems to go on auto pilot over towards Leeds these days, so it sounds like a plan is forming!

Good to hear. No, I haven't been before, where abouts is it? West Yorkshire? I joined the forum around the time this years Squires was going on.

2 Stroke gathering and YOC camping weekend 2013
Hey guys - excuse the ignorance, but am I right in assuming that us 4 strokers won't get turned down from Squires?! Had a blast loading up my YBR for a 420 mile round trip a couple of weeks ago you see. I'm sensing another adventure on the cards...

stupid kids in outer-city roads
My brother did! I used to love playing a game called Pippo - some bouncing hippo that you had to use to change colours of floor tiles. In fact, that's where my username comes from. Interesting fact, not... The resemblance to a bouncing hippo really is just overwhelming. ;-) Anyway, still in my parents loft - along with the Mega Drive!

Ha ha! Trust me, it isn't nice for a lady either... Jumping on a wet bike minus waterproof trousers and finding the water running off the tank and into your crotch isn't the best of feelings...!

Still so new to biking, but cold and dry is better. I can manage that easily by just layering up - plus I don't have to worry about drying anything out at work! Quite like to pull my Buff over my nose and ride with my visor up at lower speeds, it's quite refreshing!

Update time I think
Thanks for that, I have a country lane commute and also an unlit A road - not fun with the current headlight! I have no doubt that the new tyres will help you out, mine have worked wonders. Enjoy!!

Update time I think
Hey there - what headlight did you buy for your bike? I have a 2012 YBR 125 model (not custom) and the headlight sure is pants! I also have Michelin Pilot Sporty's on mine which has given me more confidence. I'm sure you'll feel much better once you get your Conti's!

Your First Bike Adventures...
Yeah, and also when riding into area with a big temperature drop, but it's not too bad. If it's a problem for you then pop some anti-fog on them.

I was so envious of MiniDisc owners when they came out...

Getting pulled over
Second that. I was pulled over in my old car at 1am down a quiet road. Scared the hell out of me. I knew he was planning something as he watched me go round a roundabout, and then followed me. He was one of those coppers who clearly had a quiet day, knew I was confused (couldn't work out why I'd been targeted), and was clearly nervous (sad I know, but there's something about being pulled over that worries me!) He was cocky, sarcastic and antagonising me on purpose, but I kept calm and polite and all was ok. The reason why I was pulled over? My car had those cornering fog lights which come on when the steering wheel is turned to a certain point, or if you indicated. So when he saw me, my left fog light was on as I was indicating, and then it clicked off as I went passed him - so it made it look like I did it on purpose. Stupid car and I'm glad I don't own it anymore!
