Hi mate, Pretty sure the new fazer S2 from 2007 only comes with black frame and engine. You may still get the old model at a very good price if you shop around, I was offered the old model before I ordered my S2 which was over a grand cheaper.

Hi mate, you did not say if you went on reserve before filling up if so how many miles did you do when it went on reserve. If I was doing 30 to 50 mph I would expect to be getting in between 150 to 180. At the mo I am getting about 150 miles till it hits reserve but I am doing in between 30 and 70 mph, if I carried on using reserve I would expect about 180 miles on a full tank. Talking to a mate a while back he says when he had the bike it was doing very well on fuel till it went back to the shop to have a few jobs done, then he said it was doing about 30 miles less. If you are still not happy when you go in for your service you could mention this to the mechanic. If it was me I would be tempted to fill it up then go on a run till it hits reserve this would give me peace of mind. Like I mentioned before in a earlier post I would expect in between 170 and 180 miles on a good run before it hits reserve. Hope i have been of some help. Cheers Phil.

Hi mate, get around 170 on a run before it hits reserve. Knocking around town usually get about 150. The last time i worked the mileage out I was getting 53 to the gallon on a run.

Just a short update on my Fazer after weeks of searching for a set of cans I have opted for the Scorpion cans which I think will set the bike off nice. Should get them delivered in the next few weeks, will post some pics when they are fitted. Cheers Phil.

Hi mate, I agree with Geoff the Fazer S2 is a great bike to start with. As for the other three you have chose nice bikes but for me to much pressure on the old wrists. The fazer as got a nice seated position which suits me when traveling to work each day. I notice in one of your posts that you live about 5 mins from DK, I also come from that neck of the woods myself. Cheers Phil.

As for the cans they do seem quiet expensive, but I notice Yamaha do a black aluminum exhaust cover which does look quiet nice. Hi Geoff, noticed that you have added a few extras to your fazer, just wondering if you have thought about changing the exhausts on yours. I have been looking around myself but not had much luck up to now. Posted on the bar but not had any replies up to yet. I have seen a fazer S2 on you-tube with devil cans fitted and I was very impressed.

Hi mate, Had the bike around sixteen months now, used to do 300miles a week in my last job. Only do around sixty miles a week now so should even its self out now.
