" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="480" height="295"> What do you think of the latest Bike safety advert which is being shown again this year. Got to be a good thing if it makes drivers more aware, the only problem is they show the advert for a few months then nothing. Drivers need to see adverts like this constantly so they become more aware of bikers on the road. As being a car driver myself I am very aware of cyclists and bikers. embedded it for you, drewps and don't play with it again!!

  7. Yip that was the year I think when we had stand pipes.... Happy days Happy days. You notice now-a-days one week of sunshine and we get a hose pipe ban.

  9. This is not what you call snow today I remember when we had five foot of the stuff, that's what I call snow. Down here in Stoke in 76 we had snow in June as I was driving to work on a noon shift. One week later we had one of the hottest summers on record. Here's hoping. .........

  12. Hi x-jayney, Yip I agree will be a cracking day. Might get my thermals out as well unless we get the odd glimpse of sun. Think I will have my oatcakes cheese and beans before I set out have a good day. Phil.
  13. Hi Andy, If you check out Yamaha Gallery titled My Fazer S2 you can see my exhausts on there. http://www.yamahaclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=11234. As you can see I fitted the Scorpion cans and they are road legal, plus they give out a great sound to. You do not require a power commander, and they will fit it straight on to the bike with a link pipe which is supplied with all the fittings. Also no tuning is required and it runs great, hope this will help you on your decision. Phil.

Hi jeffro, Welcome to the forum, like you started on a twist and go did my CBT then had it de-restricted. managed to get about 50mph out of it then after a while decided that I would go in for my test. After looking around at all the 125's decided to go for a Honda varadero 125 XV ( sorry I know this is a yamaha forum ) but the bike suited me down to the ground. The varadero is such a big bike and is ideal for taller/larger riders. Past my test on it then kept it for another two years just to gain a bit more experience before moving up to a 600. Sorry cant give you any tips on a dragstar as I have never owned one, but I'm sure there is plenty of people out there who will be willing to help. Good luck and safe riding Phil.
  25. Nice bike there mate.
