ever since the starter clutch went on my bike ive lost power. I replaced the starter clutch and she cranked up 1st time. Idle seems ok but when i go through the gears it feels like its chugging along. when in top gear if i try to hit full throttle it starts to chug. Ive had the carbs cleaned just to be on the safe side as initially i could barely get 20 mph. now im hitting 55 mph but its still chugging. I will check the spark plugs and have ordered an engine compression test kit as well as only cheap Have also ordered a new fuel filted as i havent replaced that since ive had the bike ( 18 months ) but havent really done many miles. Any advice and tips will be useful Cheers

Hi peeps, the starter clutch has gone on my bike and i am trying to use a puller to get the rotor off but it wont come off. any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Hello, i was taking the bike for a blow out when she stopped all of a sudden. its like when i try to start her there is a whirring noise. i checked the starter motor and its fine. its like there is a cog that isnt connecting to crank the bike up. she had a new stator fitted and i checked the voltage and was constant. Any advice would be much appreciated

will wd40 do it? might try a hairdryer perhaps?

I have purchased some handlebar grips off Ebay for my motorbike. I have gotten the one on the nearside on ok but am finding it difficult to get the offside grip on as its extremely tight. I have tried vaseline and it will only go on so far. Any suggestions please peeps?

Unfortunately i bought the bike a couple months ago with the exhaust on it so i dont know wha t its called.

I currently have a Yamaha virago 535 on a 93 K plate. It has an aftermarket exhaust but the tips are rotten and the only thing holding them in place are the mufflers! Does anyone know if i can get exhaust tips for them or will i have to get a complete exhaust? Thanks in Advance

Hello peeps, i have a 93 plate 535 with a small issue and am looking for help. inside the cover where the stator/alternator is are a series of wires whch are surrounded by a rubber gromit type seal which stops the oil fromk leaking out. Unfortunately this seal needs replacing, I have tried to repair it but i need a replacment. Thye problem is i dont know what its called and Ebay dont have any matches. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Fatlad74
