  1. Yes ken I can clearly say IM ADDICTED to Dt's haha nothing like a ride out on a 2stroke for abit off fun. The one I have now has had the clock wire done, power valve turned open, jack up kit on the back and full dep system. Would love some wrap rounds for bars but I put my bike inside at night and its hard enough as it is Have bought boyesen reed petals which are waiting to be fitted, debating a jet change tho... Don't understand a lot about jetting tbh.
  2. Sorry hi blackhat250
  3. It's great ken with sm wheels on when your out on those long weekend ventures The one I have now is 07 reg but 04 model or whatever year they stopped, it's the Dtx The previous ones were 02 DtR and 03 DtR. Have a couple of pics but not sure how to upload on here from ipad :-/
  4. Lol yea ano, if I didn't have these sm wheels on I'd have abit of a play on my field in the snow It's the 3rd DT I've owned but the first SM one, good fun I can't get enough of them! I wouldn't mind trying green laining tbh.
  5. Hi I've been on this site for a while now and I've just realised I forgot to pop on and introduce myself I've already had a few posts on here and members replies have been very greatful. Like I said I'm clueless when it comes to jetting I'm just going off what I've been told I need to do next :-/ Ill take your advice now I no the black stuff isn't a sign of needing jetting. I don't remember it doing it as much on other Dt's I've owned that's all, just going to fit the boyesen reeds I've ordered and maybe a bigger sprocket for the front for a little more top end for the longer rides out we all go on. Thanks for everybody's help Chris

It seems to be running perfect mate tbh. It's been de-restricted the usual ways- power valve, earthing the wire behind clock and full dep system. Just ordered some boyesen reeds for it to and ill possibly get a filter and remove snorkel. so would need to jet with a filter and snorkel removed any.way wouldn't I? Plus there's like a black oily stuff coming out the end can which that's when a mate said to jet it. Never gone any further than the usual 3 ways of de-restricting I mentioned before so any advice would be greatful :-) Chris

Just seen it as an easier option :-/ the good British weather we have and the fact I'm being too lazy to mess about changing jets and stripping the carb till I find the right one. Ill give them a try tomorrow and let you no the outcome. Cheers guys
