i just brought one, coming tomorrow evening... what are they like?. runs fine, needs a strip and rebuild. new plastics.... its a 1990. belt converted to chain... anything i need to know.. i paid £300 for it, but also comes with a rxs100, not sure what to do with that. we dont want it so will probably sell it.. that looks nice and clean.. its a D reg..

so if i buy it i wont need to re-restrict it?

there is a cb400 on ebay with a 33bhp restrictor on it. can they sell it like that? i thought the certificate was for the rider as well as the bike?..so if i brought it i would have to have it restricted again right??..

ok will do.... we have 2 rd 400's to restore a rd 250.. and a honda cb750 and the cb900 needs a clean up, thats used daily....

i forgot to say i love rock music... my horse comes first then the bikes.. we are restoring a few.... to many to do and i want them all done yesterday.. lol

too hard i need shokes to soften it, i've a dodgy back....

take all the chunky american stuff off. make it lighter... put straight bars on it..have a ride on it then maybe sell it on... needs a smaller seat, so i can reach the ground.. i'm only 5'3 and 6 stone...lol if not then i'll have a cb 750 or the rd400...

just been out and messed about with it, took the choke plunger out put my finger over the hole it came out of, and it started first time, looks like it was the spring stopping the choke going on all the way, so ajusted the spring, put it back together and it starts first time... bloody thing, been messing with it for months, and it took 10 mins...
