Hmm yes I feared it that nobody would listen. But i'm a mac user. Do tou know an alternative for uploaden the sound? Filming with iphone has got a bad soundrecording. That why I used the 'dictafoon'... I will try to find a solution for the upload. Rik

Yes indeed. You are right. Adjusted it, and is a little bit better. But still think the clutch has had it's best days:). On your lefthand-side there is a cover at te bottom which hides your dynamo/alternator. Behind the cover there is a bolt. FollowIng the Haynes manual there is a possibility to adjust the clutch. Rik

Hey everybody, Who am I? I a 26 yo. From Belgium. New into the whole 'motorbikestory'. Never was allowed to have a motorcycle, but convinced my dad that I can buy one. Since I'm not into new big bikes, and under 125cc I don't need a license...(but allready drove a 250cc dirtbike from a friend when I was 16 and rented a honda dax in france on vacation) -> good morning YAMAHA RS100 (1978). My original idea was to turn the bike into a caferacer, but because the bike is completely original, I will not change a thing. It has it charmes, and is nice as it is. I started with the basics; how does a 2-stroke work. How does a carb work. Thanks to mr.youtube I'm now wiser on how those things work. Hayner workshop manual ordered. Next thing up; get a kickstarter. Clean the bike (it has some oil on the block, so I suppose there is a leakage). Etc. ... I'll keep you updated with news (and question:))...

Ah too bad. Well, then I will search further, but not on the internet, can't find anything. I wonder why there is so less to find concerning the rs100. Only 2 project by someone else to find, and some things about crankseal failure and this item. Even no clubs or website which are only about the rs100:). Any reason for this ? Or do you know where to look? Think that this forum is the best one around! Anorher hard thing is the differne between all rs100's. Anyone to tell me what de 'dx' stands for behind 'rs100' (at the moderator; should i open a topic on these question, or are they fine here?) Kind regards, Rik

Hey Nik, Could you please tell me where you found the kickstart for your RS100? I just bought a 1978 RS100 without the kickstart, I searched for a long time on the internet, but can't find any kickstart for my RS100, only one in the Phillipenes. Thanks in advance, Kind regards, Rik (Belgium)
